I purchased a Mac Mini with M1 and so far it is all it has been professed to be. I have the luxury of continuing to use my 2016 MacBook Pro as well, so I've been only installing software that is M1 native or a Universal binary. Everything is incredibly fast, both to launch or in terms of rendering videos, etc.
Hi JDM,
Yes, you have some real exposure (no pun intended) with your current setup.
Time Machine by default does not back up external drives. It appears from your write up that you have two (2) WD 2TB external drives. One you use for backup to Time Machine, the other to hold your image files?
Most likely, your Lightroom catalog is on your MacBook and getting backed up to the external drive you are using with Time Machine. If you've truly forced it over onto the external drive, that's fine. In that case, I'd look into insuring that the automatic backups of LR catalog are done to your MacBook.
Your big exposure is that all your images (and maybe LR catalog) are on an external device that could fail, be lost, damaged, etc and if so - everything is gone in terms of your photos. The worst case scenario for most of us!
Amazon Prime does allow you "unlimited" storage of photos, if your format meets requirements - see:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GGU2SU8Y22DZYRMQ Note that videos are not unlimited. You'll need to at minimum get the Amazon Photos app for your Mac and set it up to backup your external drive.

I used to use Amazon Drive with a tool called GoodSync to put my images in the cloud as one of my backups, but Amazon changed things such that the tool stopped working so I went another direction...
Hope this helps!
Always enjoy seeing your work pop up in here @infiniteiso - thanks for sharing!
Are these cards you are making in very small batches, i.e. just a few at a time? If not, your best bang for the buck may be to just use Vistaprint... they are always running a special on business cards.

You should not use the Time Machine drive for CCC. Use another one and keep using Time Machine and CCC to a different drive that way you have the best of both worlds.
If you do not want to do the above then you will need to erase the TM drive with Disk Utility so CCC can then use it. I think the problem is CCC will not overwrite a TM drive.
Don't forget to remove the drive(s) from TM before you format and use them with CCC.
I'm assuming from all the replies that you are using Windows. If Mac is an option for you, take a look at Records - just $14.99 (I got mine as part of a "bundle"). Probably do just want you need with minimal fuss.

Love them. The fifth posted is the best in my eye. The model has a completely different face in profile, you would never guess those striking angular lines existed in the head-on poses. They all have great potential, but I think the fifth is the most flattering to her and the best pose.
Agree - a great shot - very flattering and intriguing at the same time!

I also use this, very good and I prefer it to time machine
I use both. Time Machine is free and works well. You can't have too many backups in too many places.
Wasn't sure this was appropriate elsewhere...
PDFexpert is a tool that would handle that (and much more) if you're Mac based.

Where I have a problem is signing in on an iPad, Kindle, or phone. I don't have LastPass on them, so I'm stuck.
1Password syncs seamlessly with iPad and iPhone. I don't have a Kindle Fire (which is what I assume you mean; essentially an android tablet), and while that is not directly supported by 1Password my understanding from a quick search is you can something called a "side load" from google play store to implement 1Password functionality.
I was a RoboForm user prior to 1Password (which came about as RoboForm didn't run on Mac); I have used 1P for many years now and it's rock solid. What I really like is you can literally store any sensitive information in there you may need to reference in odd places and can retrieve on your mobile. Credit cards, passport info, family SSN's, etc. I also track all my software licenses, which is quite handy at times.

With the great texture of the rocks in shot #1, I'm thinking it might look fantastic in B&W
Really nice shoot. I'd suggest perhaps removing in post the sheen on last shot on her cheek, upper lip and especially her chin
