Those ceiling photos are fantastic, Rufe. Nicely done! I enjoy trying to get a good ceiling shot too. You may see a few if you stay tuned to this challenge. Tony
I never asked you: What kind of gear do you use for your phenomenal shots
Thanks for the gorgeous post, Jay img src="https... (show quote)
Thank you very much Joe! I have been shooting since 1970. I transitioned from film to digital in 2002 and was shooting Canon until 2019 when I switched to a Fujiflm X-T2 mirrorless camera with various Fuji lenses. I have not looked back! The Fuji X-T2 camera is smaller, light weight, and has amazing controls with knobs and dials requiring very little interaction with menus once you get it set up. Camera is fun to shoot, like in the film era before all of the menus appeared on digital cameras. I also really like the Fuji color "science" plus their lenses are incredibly sharp. Because it is mirrorless, all focusing is done on the image sensor so there is no focus calibration required as with SLR and DSLR cameras. Also, what you see in the electronic viewfinder is what you get! A fun camera to shoot with!
