Thanks all, it boils down to cost and good CPL's are not cheap. Are CPL's better at certain focal lengths? I use the Tamron 70-200 G2 a lot and curious if there are any issues throughout this range? I guess I need to do some more reading too.

Hi all. Has anyone used a larger Circular Polarizer on a smaller lens (82mm polarizer on a 77mm lens) with a step down adapter ring? What issues might there be using the larger Circular Polarizer on the smaller lens?

Thanks Tom

Hi, I'm using the same revision as you. I went through the steps in the tutorial and have some questions. As I stated, I went into the soft proofing and then into the profiles and selected the Red River Paper profile I wanted to use with the Red River paper I ordered. If I follow all the steps in the tutorial and then print, does the printer use the Red River Profile I selected? I ask this as I do not see Red River in the Media Types. I'm still learning and appreciate all your help.

Hi all, my latest dilemma in installing icc profiles into ON1 Photo Raw 2018. I have scoured the web and searched here without success. I have looked into enabling Soft Proofing and looking into the profiles under "View". I see the profile I want and click on it to select it. When I go to print the picture, I do not see this profile under the printer properties I do not see the profile listed under the Media Type / Photo Papers. I am using windows 10 with the Canon Pixma Pro-100. The profile is from Red River Papers and they don't have any tutorials either for the windows/Canon combination. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I did view that tutorial and they mention that it is for Windows XP to Windows 7 in the video. I did not get the Install Profile when I right clicked the extracted profile. I did find out that if you move that file to another location and right click it, you then do get the Install Profile in the popup menu.

Thanks, I found several useful suggestions from that link. Tone where you move the profile out of the folder and then right click did the trick. Putting it into the folder (C:)>windows > System32 > spool > Drivers > Color also worked. Really frustrating Red River's tutorials are so outdated (Vista to windows 7). Oh well, problem solved, thanks.

Hi all. I am having difficulty trying to install the ICC Profiles into Lightroom 6 and Photoshop CS5. I have scoured the web but it seems the videos are for Mac computers and older versions of Lightroom and CS5. Neither of these work with my combination. I have the Canon Pro-100, Windows 10. I typically use Canon paper but decided to try out the Metallic papers from Red River Papers and would like to use their icc profile that I downloaded. Can someone out there steer me in the right direction?

Hi all, Just curious if anyone has successfully updated their CS5.1 to work with the D850 NEF files. I'm not sure if this is even possible but I prefer not having to convert to DNG. My Lightroom 6 (standalone) and ON1 2018 both work fine with the D850 NEF files.

Thanks bsparaque, the "ZIP" file did the trick. I did lot of searching but never came up with the link to the 6.14 version update, very frustrating indeed. I had a similar issue with my Photoshop suite 5, lots of misinformation and pushing you towards the cloud versions and monthly fees. I tried the subscription for a year, bought it at Best Buy so I didn't get stuck with automatic renewals. I found myself being quite happy with Lightroom and ON1.

After some time in chat with an Adobe guy yesterday, I was assured that Lightroom 6 would load my Nikon Raw files from my Nikon D850. I paid the money, downloaded and launched the application. It does not read the Raw files from my D850. It does read my Raw files from the D750. I looked at the version in the help/system section and the version is 6.0. I have searched without success on how to download the latest version (6.14). I select the Help and Updates and it brings up the Adobe Creative Cloud banner with an "Update" for Lightroom Classic CC.

I looked through the search files but haven't seen anything recent.

I have tried without success to find where I can update to version to 6.14.

I have ON1 Photo RAW 2018 and it works fine with my D850 Raw files.

Any help out there or should I just dispute the charge nd be done with it?

I got mine at Robert's Camera in Indianapolis just under 3 weeks and they don't require a credit card to pre-order it. As an added bonus for first time buyers they offer a free extra Nikon battery. Stephanie (sepuna@robertscamera.com was great to work with. I typically buy from B&H but their wait time was unacceptable.

Thanks, I'll go take a look and see what's there for my canon printer.

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to add that I have printed out pictures that look great and appear pretty much like the monitor and I am quite happy with. I don't remember setting the camera color space to the sRBG ICE61966-2.1 but that is what appears in the camera data.

Hi all, I took the Excedrin but that didn't fix the print. I am printing with a new Canon Pixma Pro-100 and the prints are coming out way darker than the monitor does. The picture is from my D750 and it looks like the color space was sRGB IEC61966-2.1. I have tried both Photoshop and ON1 with the same results. I have tried having the printer manage the colors and Photoshop manage them. Can someone offer some guidance.
