Interesting and intriguing cityscapes....
Food for thought.... I assisted on assignments where clients have requested sidewalks and roadways be devoid of all pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
The Solution? Neutral Density Filter(s); a robust stead tripod; a DSLR with a mechanical VIEW FINDER Screen; a color target (long exposures over a dozen minutes tend to result in unpredictable color shifts.)
btw, the results can be and typically are breathtaking provided you invest time/effort in test exposures.
This scenario proved to generate a health revenue stream for both the commercial photographer (a fellow ASMP member) and myself :)
Hope this helps and following your edict I didn't post examples, however you can easily find them on flickr by searching Neutral Density Cityscapes
Thank you for sharing...
The last two are especially breathtaking Frank...
Those downloads are lovely.
Stellar illumination and subject isolation...
Thank you for sharing
jpicc1113's inference on about the presence of Vibration Reduction is valid...
In the first line of the OP's post it states
"The Nikon 24-70G ED VR is the esteemed workhorse of the Nikon Lens line-up."
The actual Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR clearly has the Letters VR in Gold directly under the Upper Case letter N for Nano Crystal Coat...
See image below...
Hope this helps to clarify the confusion...

Ruthlessrider your query belongs in the Main Photography Forum not in the Members Buy/Sell/Trade -- Classifieds
Here is a link to the
Classifieds RulesSince you've been a UHH member since Jul 14, 2019 with over 580 posts this is unaccepted.
a.k.a. Trying to "Spin" a generic Main Forum query with a rhetorical question is denying legitimate Buy/Sell/Trade post the priority they warrant.
As such I've reported it to the Member's Buy/Sell/Trade Admin.
Joe I have both the P-324 & P424 Monopods... Used them extensively for shooting League Soccer.
Unfortunately I've stored both OEM bags in my loft... If I have the time I'll see if I can located one.
I'm in the processes of selling my Location Kit since I'm now limited to Studio assignments only.
However if you are simply looking for a cost effective solution please consider AliExpress Monopod Bag
https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832605502161.htmlAt issue here is I can't compete on price point alone with the AliExpress product however I will attempt to pull both my Sirui Monopod carrying bags down from my Loft since I'll be selling one of my Sirui P "series" Monopods.
btw, loving your Web Portal Joe,

"Richard Avedon is considered one of the most iconic fashion photographers ever to grace the industry. Using unconventional techniques and his unique style ... The New York Film Academy...
As an aspiring commercial Fashion Photographer I relentlessly studied the "Greats" within the industry.
Richard in particular had an epic technique I have deployed in my studio... That of having a huge floor to ceiling full length mirror directly behind my camera position... This has worked well for my efforts, albeit others may or may not appreciate what it brings to the mix... Bottom Line? Study those who have achieved commercial success within the genre you wish to work in... That said if you are not interested in shooting commercially simply ignore my thoughts here in as they may not be germane nor appropriate to you...
Interesting aside I recently did a shoot for an agency model who at the last moment decided she wanted to go with a High Key "look" in which I didn't have time to setup a mirror behind my camera position... She seriously missed that and share same with me...
Below is from a session where the young talent benefited from seeing herself in "real-time"
Said it still is one of her favorite shoots... Here aggregate Team Synergy yielded the resulting images

Loving the final image of this compelling series (all of which are stellar)... Yes the downloads are fantastic!
I'm certain your friend Andre is elated with your creative rendering of his persona
Which on the commercial side of the equation is likely all that truly matters...
Again thank you for sharing Wayne, you are an outstanding and consistent contributor to the People Forum...
Wishing you all the best on your amazing journey...

There you may find those who's work is at the zenith of the craft.

Yep, no introduction needed...
Clearly and unmistakably Marti Gras New Orleans...
My dad flew me there when I was just a kid, will never forget the huge catfish being hauled out of the Mississippi in 1950! Fast forward, had to do IT management for Computer Associates' CA Week in The Big Easy nearly 50 years later... the catfish where gone (the Mississippi at NOLA is pretty much toxic sewage now) albeit the people all remained the same...
Yes the The Big Easy endures with all it's camaraderie...
Thank you for sharing pdsdville... Brings back many intriguing memories..
Such a compelling rendering of a bond with her companion which the joy within her smile so eloquently reveals...
A stellar menagerie of earth tones woven together to create this endearing serene narrative set against a soft bokeh background. And yes the download is excellent... Which also reveals a hint of frozen aquatic marsh anchoring the bottom corner on camera right... Superb compositional elements...
Thank you so much for sharing Dan
Superb reportage... Such wonderful charismatic event... So much synergy amongst the contestants...
Loving the wardrobe styling! What a fabulous event for an
Event Shooter!
Ok so I took the time to read through the
Alafia Rules which state...
"Cameras should be kept out of sight as much as possible. They should not be carried exposed, but brought out for the photo op, then returned to cover as quickly as possible...https://www.alafiariverrendezvous.org/alafia-river-rendezvous-rules-regulations-and-procedures/I assume you had "Credentials" from the the
Booshway to cover this event?
I certainly appreciate your efforts here...
Totally naive on this genre, looks to be a joyful bunch engaged in serious period "Theater"
Thank you so much for sharing roxiemarty...
Splendid collection of intriguing imagery...
All the best on your photographic journey :)

Or maybe ask the seller?
This little chap obviously may have enjoyed looking through the the Canon Manual for this 100-400mm first.
Noticed that this camera was actually still turned on? It has info showing on the top display panel...
Since it is an Ultra-Sonic Image Stabilized lens I'm wondering if it may have been emitting a high pitch humming sound like so many Image Stabilized optics...
That might explain this chip's fixation on this "Great White Shark" that ventured into his/her turf...
The poor fellow will lose a little sleep over this...
Albeit "Monkey See? Monkey Do... rings load and clear in this scenario...
