It was a very shallow dof with that combo. I have some new ones i'll post from this morning.

Canon 5Dc - kalimar f3.5 135mm ( magic secret thingy, plus tube ) had to fight the bugs off while I shot this..

I think most of the time a 50mm is a better fit focally. Often a 85mm is larger, and heavy or can be. But there are some amazing 50mm and 85mm lenses in the world.. Now, The better question is how the lenses compare..
