Get a adapter fron D lenses to R lenses. You don't need the Canon version as it has no glass as it is a hook up for adapting the different sizes and transfer the electronics.
I also have an R5 and bought the non Canon adaptor and all my old Canon lenses work fine. I had a Tamron lens (older model) that did not I have since bought another non Canon adaptor for another older lens and keep them mounted so the 2 older Canon lenses that I use a lot can just be switched.
It depends one of several things. But one of our problems is the Chinese are selling print on canvas ceeper te we can print them. 24x36 from $39.00 up in furniture stores and other places. It wiped out some of my business.
To day if I print 13X19 print the paper is over a buck and ink is not cheep. I just did a regular customer a set and charger $25.00 @. I don't know if I was out of line (but I did it and they gave me 2 other jobs)/

I don't photos but, I allow some people to use them. I have a stamp "Photo Copyrighted By:(my name)" that goes on my pictures and any form of distributing my pictures. In some cases I will put "you may use for personal use only" after the Copyright note.
Save money or whatever every 10 years I take the paperwork and my old passport, go to the Post Office. They take my picture and paperwork etc and I get a new passport in the mail. One stop.
Goto the Post Office. They do it with equipment just for PasPorts.
A good photographer. Not the equipment.
What difference does it make if you are a "PRO" or "Amature" ? Your doing the same thing and getting paid.
Maybe we need a term "Amapro"
Todays cameras are better and faster focusing than we use to be so concentrate on other ways to make better pictures. I'm using all the help I can from technology and trying to make better pictures. 10 years ago I might of been happy with my pictures today, but today I'm looking to improve more.
I don't ever expect to say that's good enough.

One did and the other (few---- thousand) didn't. I'm sure he had a reason, but I don't care.
I switched yeas ado, from Execta to Lica and now Canon but so what. I am not defending Canon just saying a one person changing is not not worthey.
