Okay! Everyone has addressed the calibrated monitor, and that is very important, indeed! However, that is only half the consideration. The other half is in soft-proofing. THAT will address any gamut issues you are sure to encounter when printing to a specific icc (gloss or mat, the output icc). If I am post processing for a print and not just a web page or the computer, I always soft-proof. Just saying... :)

Do NOT fall for the N.Y.I.P scam! They have the worst instructors and the material is about film, BW. I've learned more here communicating with some Pro's in one session than in the entire coursework at N.Y.I.P.!

I don't mean to be critical or deminish your success in any way. It is after all a major accomplishment to have sold your work. That having been said I too have been published and have also sold some work. However I do not consider myself a pro. I never made a living as a photographer. I that think the title of Pro should be reserved for those who have made at least at least a signifigant portion of their living as a photographer. Perhaps semi pro would be more accurate. Just my opinion..
Not in the eyes of the tax man! :)

Will the Tamron 2X teleconverter for Nikon fit with the 70-300mm Nikon lens? How about the Nikon 18-200mm Nikon DX lens?
Thanks everyone

Don't know about other cameras but I shoot strictly Nikon. I have the D300, D700, and D800 and can embed the copyright info into the metadata.

Sorry. For canon I have not a clue. For Nikon it is easy.
How do I do it for Nikon? Is it in the jpg meta-data?
