Very enjoyable set! What a festive, creative setting, so well documented with a cell phone under indoor lighting conditions!
The amount of work involved in painting is really impressive. Every flat surface. except floors and ceiling, were decorated. Even the leather backs of seats were painted. I couldn't tell if the Mexican tiles were real or faux.
The theme seems to be Day of the Dead, done in a happy, whimsical style. I didn't find skeltons off-putting; they seemed to be telling us not to worry, the afterlife is filled with fun and tequila. I liked the figure with a metal detectorI examining the agave (tequila) plant, and the list of treasures (tequilas) on the right. A commentary about commercialism invading the realm of the sacred and mystic?
A tiny nit: the painter reversed the two ?s surrounding "Que Pasa"...only the first one should be inverted. I'm sure the first patrons told the owners. This shouldn't detract from the overall effort. Looks like a great spot for a fun Mexican meal.
Thanks for this
Wonderful set! I especially liked #1, the B&W of hands and face.
All showed an excellent, expressive subject very well Photographed.
Very enjoyable viewing.

Another terrific set! Great croc photos and very interesting narrative.
However, my strongest memory will probably be the anxiety I felt, wondering ,e.g., if the photographer or the guy in the background could get to you in time if things didn't go as planned. No offense intended, but what came to my mind as I viewed these pix was the old limerick
There was a young lady of Niger
Who smiled as she rode on a tiger.
They returned from the ride
With the lady inside
And the smile on the face of the tiger.
Be well and keep up the good work!

SO, is this an actual photo ? How did you locate this portal and what camera settings did you use? (LOL)
Very creative and enjoyable! Thanks for this preview.
Very enjoyable viewing, Reminds me of the works of Roman Vishniac (if you aren't familiar with him, you might want to check him out).
I grew up in Milwaukee and left many years ago, but I don't remember seeing large numbers of (apparently) Hasidic people there.
Nice job! I really like your capture of the delicate colors of the flowers.
Great shot! Very nice lighting and composition.
Another superb and enjoyable set! Thanks !
I really loved he excellent photography and the literate and informative text. Once again, I found the portraits great. They show the attractiveness of these "primitive" people, living with beauty and simplicity. I think you did very well to make them comfortable with you, especially in the early days of their contact with outsiders.
