Jul 29, 2012 - The longest covered bridge in the U.S. Google Map Wikipedia.

Looks as if we will have to concede that the Medora Bridege in Medora Indiana is no longer the lonrest in the US.
However, nothing captures the escence of by-gone days like the old spans. This Medora bridge is a beautiful one. I am compelled to post a photo, forgive me for jumping in. I seldom do this.
beautiful bridge, looks longer than ours, I'll have to check it out. Checked it out, the total length is 460 feet.

There is such tenderness in these pictures, you have the look of someone newly in love and looking forward to what adventures the future will bring. Very nice pictures

You've really told a story with this series. Very nice.

I've seen them lined up on the roof of the local McDonalds waiting to swoop down on an unsuspecting patron.

when my kids were little we would feed our leftover ff to the birds, the kids called them the McDonald birds.

Great set. Makes me chuckle as Iv'e spent many a day sharing my fries also. I think the gull is one of natures most perfect creatures. Is there anything they can't do?

I make it point to go down by the lake every couple of days just to watch the changes and to feed the ducks and birds. I always feel better when I leave.
