I live nearby Bluffton SC. Old Sheldon Ruins now has wrought iron fence around the building since, some knuckleheads started stealing bricks, graffiti, and damage to some of the headstones. These people ruin everything!
I recommend a boat ride on the river and look for dolphins. The bridge used in Forest Gump is right there. The Gay Fish Company out in Frogmore on the way to Hunting Island was used for the boat dock Lt. Dan came to see Forest. Stop at the Sea Shack for the famous Shrimp Burger and it is mouth watering.

Fantastic photo ops around Savannah GA and Hilton Head SC. Bonaventure Cemetery is the best that I have seen.

when you couple the darkness with living in CA, then there is darkness. Get out while you still can. We left 7 years ago and never looking back.

Have a lot of great memories of Cincinnati. Miss the chili and white castles. Grandmother lived on 2nd street over looking the Roebling bridge. we used to visit and here the caliope play on the Delta Queen. This is when the Reds played in Crosley Field.

At the museum there were all of the states flag. This train station was huge in the early years. 4 presidents stopped and ate at the restaurant, troop trains and supply trains. Very educational.
