This photo was taken on the way to crabtree falls here in virginia. I took this in the fall of 2011. The sun was coming up over this mountain pond I loved the way it was lighting up the pond and trees as it rose.

Great shot - I was instantly drawn to it.

This video is 52.39 minutes, but worth every minute. The story is compelling and the photography is legendary.

Brian Shul crashed at the end of the Vietnam War in Cambodia, with very little chance of survival ... and beat the odds. He is funny and informative ... he did it and lived to tell the story .... He talks about life's choices and outcomes, but laced within his message are incredible stories of his years as a SR71 Blackbird pilot, including his legendary photography. The SR 71, known as "The Sled", is the fastest plane ever built. It owns all the flying records.
This video is 52.39 minutes, but worth every minut... (show quote)

I was stationed at Ona Point, Okinawa from 1967-69 with the USAF Security Service as a Morse Intercept Operator. On several occasions I intercepted Chicom tracking of the SR-71 as it flew up the coast of VN and China - I wonder if I ever tracked Brian's sled.

Both very nice. The second one really says "Norman Rockwell."

The SmartPhoto effect masks are very powerful.

Terrific emotion in this image, Jerry. The edited version adds to the mood.

Thanks, I was a second away from missing it [at a crowded family birthday party].

I've shot two "perfect" pics in 40+ years. One of my wife and our first, infant daughter, and now, this one. Thanks for looking.

Reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting; great capture.

I thought of it as a Saturday Evening Post cover [by Norman Rockwell].

A great grandfather - 95 years old, and a great grandson - 4 years old, playing a video game. The second one uses a Smart Photo Editor effect.

Beautiful light in the early morning.

Light isn't everything, but it beats all the rest - just an opinion from someone who thinks your pictures are stunning! Wish you'd post the download version to see what your settings, etc. were.
