Unless you have held a 4x5 or 8x10 chrome in your hands you can see why film will never die,hopefully :)

The angle of view on the 14-24 is 114 verse 104 for the 17-35 a big difference when it comes to landscape photography,I rarely shot at a 20 degree angle to narrow.
Angle of view is better on the 14-24 plus the N coating.
I have been putting off buying a 14-24mm so maybe now, anyone wants to buy a 17-35mm.
There should be a contest who can take the most award winning image with the most primitive camera,mine is my Fuji S3.
I have this camera and it proforms great not that fast though for sports.
