Here is the change I made to remove the frame!

Very nice. Looks like the large plant is the king and the smaller ones are honoring it. :-)

Went to the Central Washington Agricultural Museum on Sunday looking for "sharp edges" for a flickr group theme. Feedback and suggestions welcomed!

Excellent set, they check all the boxes for me, great tone control, tools, weathered wood, high contrast, and artistic composition.

Excellent title. I think that saw has saw better days :D Excellent demonstration of texture and tone control.

I just visually like it.

Interesting, I have a few like that I never considered looking at in B&W. The B&W seems to add a new dimension to it.

The escalator going into the void suggested so many scenarios. It just piqued my interest. B&W seemed to emphasize the unknown atmosphere. Probably getting a little dramatic here but that's the way I saw it.

It is quite surrealistic, you did good on composition and tone control

Topaz's Adjust AI is no longer a supported product. But it still works. Here is an example of using it on a B&W image which was taken using an 850nm filter on a modified full spectrum camera and then to change its look using a preset called Coastal Sunrise found in the HDR simulation collection.

I'm sure if I set my mind to do it, I could simulate this look entirely in Lightroom, or any number of other SW products I have. But it was certainly easy with Adjust AI.

Vary nice, I like the second one, sepia type.

Foggy Morning Run

Good shot. Well controlled, this would be a tricky shot to get the depth of field in fog and include the action.

Great portrait! I like the light sepia tone on this one. As already said, one of your better ones. :-)

Modesto, CA. There are some more I took for my final project. I will post some a bit later. My idea was to capture the juxtaposition of the beautiful artwork against its gritty environment, namely the alleys and parking lots.

You did well, thanks for sharing ☺️👍
