It's interesting that the original question was what manual cameras do you USE seems to have turned into what do you HAVE.

I interpreted OP’s original question as “what film cameras have you used” not as “what do you use now”. I took a serious look at film development recently (Canon AE-1P, Leica M6), but decided I prefer the benefit of digital cameras and modern post-processing software. The more I study and learn, the less I am likely to look back. Regards, Ralph

Suggest you contact UHH member “MT Shooter” regarding Nest Gimbals and Tripods. MT Shooter is the U.S. representative for Nest. They make reasonably-priced, high quality gear! Highly recommended.

You might want to edit the title of your ad. I think you meant it to read RH-2 instead of RG-2.

OP needs to EDIT the title of his post. As is, it is misleading. Can easily be interpreted to say the touch ring on his CAMERA cannot rotate the image on his totally unrelated Wacom TABLET.

leftyRich,
Are you talking about a touch ring on your camera or on your tablet? Touch rings are a common feature on cameras, but I don’t have a touch ring on my tablet. (Apple iPad Pro).

Sorry you are experiencing health problems. I think a smart phone would certainly allow you to continue enjoying photography. Apple is not the only choice, take a look at Samsung, LG and Motorola, too. A wrist strap would probably be helpful.

There's a few folks, for reasons we can all judge for ourselves, that have started posting the exact same posts into multiple sections. As an example, if you subscribe to both the true macro and photo gallery, you might see posts in the list of 'Newest Topics' for the subject name, with the same pictures, into both sections at roughly the same time. Close examination of the sections will show the different sections being used.

That is a valid possibility, Paul, but in these cases both the original and #2 posts seem to come from the Main Photography Section.

Have you contacted Canon about the issue? Is the camera under warranty? When and where did you purchase the camera? Have you contacted the vendor you purchased the camera from?

Whenever this question comes up (3 times in the past week or two as I recall), several of us urge members to discard the digest and to use "Newest Topics" at the top of any page. Those are sorted by newest first, not by popularity or most recent comment. And it is all postings, not "selected for you."
If folks want to do this, they should go to "all sections" at the bottom of the page, click subscribe to all sections of interest (and unsubscribe to any you may not care about that were automatically included in your membership), and then you have one-stop shopping when you click "newest topics." For main discussion forum this means you also have the opportunity to view topics that don't already have 20 comments and solutions

Linda, I would like to ask a closely related question. I use Newest Topics as you and others suggest. But I have observed a number of what seems to be recurring posts. Repeats of something posted a day or so previously. I look back over Newest Topics to find the original, but I never can. Is someone taking pity on the OP and “bumping” the original post to make it appear again? Or is it just my imagination? Thanks for your response! To DeanS, very glad you got your answer!

Which one? David Bailey, the portrait/fashion photographer from England? Or David Bailey, the celebrity/product photographer from Nashville?
