My personal favorites are the Lumix DMC-ZS series. Leica designed 28-720 mm equivalent, full manual operation, live viewfinder as well as a large LCD and RAW images. I'm about to upgrade from the ZS40 to the ZS100 because I wore the 40 out (I stared with a ZS-3 which I also wore out). The best part is it will fit in my shirt pocket so I always have it with me. I did just buy a PowerShot 540 HS, mainly because I could get a filter adapter but I think I have a work around adapter for the Lumix.

Musical genres go in cycles. In the 50s Beat music was popular, music reduced to rhythm that has come back around to Hip Hop and Rap. I have little tolerance for American Hip Hop or rap but what is coming out of south east Africa is very good, not so seeped in hatred and anger. I enjoy most kinds of music, except maybe opera and I've found a great iOs app (probably Android also) called "SimpleRadio.app". Stations are dedicated to more or less one genre and you can bookmark your favorites. I've got a phone linked by BlueTooth to a small bar speaker as my radio setup (one thing to do with an old phone).

Rangefinder magazine: a commercially oriented magazine. I've abandoned the printed version for the digital version.

Why don't you start?

I have other higher priorities. Plus it wouldn't be the same as when I had access to a Zeiss desktop photo microscope.

Back when I worked fore the US Department of forestry as their technical photographer I would have "NEEDED" one for certain. I'd start writing grants for complete with the best glass. When I got it I'd immediately mount on the Carl Zeiss photo-microscope and start shooting.

Technical photographers will probably love the thing if the glass is up to the job.

Wow are they stupid, Earth travels in an ellipse around the sun. They should easily see that from their vantage point.

Lenses are a more durable investment. I'm still using 15 and 20 year old lenses but have upgraded my bodies several times. I know my old lenses are not optimal for the new bodies but they are adequate for the majority of work I do, if they are not then it's time to buy new.

DSLRs seem to have quicker response rates, so would be more appropriate for most sports and fast moving wildlife. Mirrorless would seem to be better when you want stealth, street photography and slow moving wildlife. I haven't shopped for either in a couple of years so this may have changed.

Fotodiox specializes in adapters among other things. I've shopped with them many times and always have good results and value. Visit their website at https://fotodioxpro.com lens adapters or on the far left menu.

I would be the target customer. I have a couple Leica by Panasonic m4/3 lenses I like a lot. I enjoy the connections my phone has to email, Facebook and maybe Instagram. My phone is also connected to the Lightrooms.

It would be useful to have those lenses attached to my phone's interface and applications.

I hope they make the software with plug-in capacity and/or scripting. I've been playing with the software that came with my Lumix. It only does the basics.

This looks interesting to me. Micro Four Thirds sensor & camera combined, controlled by your smart phone.
