My D7000 and I send condolences on the loss of your 7000. I have been researching for an FX camera and had settled on the 610 until I started reading the info on the new 750. Since my next camera purchase is still a ways off I will look forward to what will be said by the people who purchase it.

The d610 is unreal. I've seen the ad doe the d750. I may go that way too. I enjoy shooting at night and the low light possibilities sound great. But I may jump further. The d4s .........but ......it's $6500.....decisions decisions......:/

Do you ever photograph the Rattlesnake Round up in Texas ?? I photographed an event outside of Austin years ago and was awed by the size and the rattlesnake sacking they did. I would love to photograph it again...from a distance..lol

Actually used to catch snakes for the round up in Freer TX. Haven't been since I got into photography. Work keeps me pretty hemed up and a lot out of Texas. Actually headed to west Virginia in the morning.

Do you worry about snakes when you go photo hunting ???

Actually no I dont. I've always been drawn to all reptiles. I used to catch snakes and bring them home as a young boy. My parents would freak. So they bought me a national geographic reptile field guide so I wouldn't accidentally catch the wrong one. Lol....I started bringing home coral snakes and rattlers then....they were freaking...lol

I love them all,is the croc really real, and that sunset (rise ? ) is just so beautiful :thumbup.

Thank you Felicia! And yes the gators are real and wild straight out of the Atchafalaya basin. The sunset is Martin lake outside of breaux bridge LA. Awesome sunsets and swamp tours there. I highly recommend it if your in the area.
