I use a combination of Olympus OEM and Wasabi batteries. As for the Wasabi, I use them as a backup to the OEMs and have had no issues.

I have a limited need for this lens. Interested in real-world awareness regarding these two. Will shoot on 5D Sr and RP, probably at night hs fb games. There is a significant diff in cost, and I’m not crazy abt spending Canon money for a lens that would see so little shooting. I have read a couple comparos, and other than build quality and focus dist, the diff is not that great.

If you know of what you speak, pls advise. Tia.

I have the Tamron on a 6D Mark II and like you I could not justify the price difference.

I have been quite impressed with this lens and am happy that the results.

Would purchase again if needed.

Indeed they are. Could that be the answer?

More than likely. See the first "G" drives volume name was was "linked" to the first editing process. When the second "G" drive was introduced the volume name did not match and the software was looking for the original drive, since it was coded per se the the first volume name. The second drive then became a new set of photos (duplicates).

I have Olympus Workspace version 1.1 (the latest, I think).

Recently, I copied photos over to a new larger hard drive. I still have the original hard drive as well. The two drives are now exact copies of each other. I can assign the two hard drives to the same drive letter. G in my case. The the raw edit information is stored with the programs AppData on the C drive.

When using the original drive the raw edits are visible but invisible when using the new drive. I spoke with Olympus about this issue. While very responsive they were unable to find a solution or provide an explanation. It seems odd that specific drive information is stored in the app data.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Are the volumes named differently? Did you name the first "G" drive say "Test 1" and the second "G" drive "Test 2"?

Looking for good mouse for photo editing with Lightroom and macroom pro ? Any ideas ? Thanks

I use a Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse. The mouse has the ability to refine the DPI of the cursor speed which allows for more glandular and precise movement of the cursor.

In looking at my tap-in-console, it does indeed have a mini-d connection. Those cylindrical things are actually to help the signal from the computer to the device. You don't really need it.

Again, if you have another cable, I would suggest trying that to rule out a cable issue.

What operating system are you using? 32 or 64 bit? What version of the TAP-in Utility did you load, 32 or 64 bit?

Make sure that the cable going into the tap-in-console is in all the way. Had a similar issue and once i re-seated the cable, everything worked as expected. Have you tried another cable? Perhaps you have a cell phone that uses the mini-d connection, try with that cable and see if it connects.

Just a thought...Are you connecting directly to a USB port on the computer or through a USB hub?

Hopefully someone has an answer for me. As yet, I have not been able to find one. While working in photoshop on a Windows 10 PC the screen automatically reverts back to the desktop in between edits. Let's say I have 3 photos in the cue to be edited and as soon as I finish one the system reverts back to the desktop view, and I have to click on photoshop again in the task bar to go back to it...makes me nuts! All, or any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

BTW, if it matters, and old version of PS and an HP laptop

Have you tried running PS in compatibility mode on Windows 10? You mentioned that it worked as expected with Windows XP.

I have a Peak Design Slide strap that I really like. Recently I found that attaching one anchor to the tripod socket(and the other to a camera strap eyelet) allowed the D7200 and 18-140 lens to hang lens-down. BUT, I just took delivery of a heavier lens (Nikkor AF-S 200-500 f/5.6), about five pounds. I'm nervous about hanging this much weight from the tripod socket.

Do other users of the Peak Design Slide use it with larger lenses, and how do you attach it? I am thinking maybe a plate on the lens collar foot?

The Peak Design anchors are designed to hold 200 pounds of weight.

However, I'm old school and prefer to use the camera lugs vs. the tripod socket, especially on heavier weighted setups.

I just downloaded and activated via the activation code sent by email. This is not a trail but the full version of the software.

Use the link below and follow the instructions:

www.skylum.com/l/nphoto

Look for an email with the activation code.

BTW thanks to the OP for this information.

The SD card is formatted for the camera and not for the OS.

The card needs to be in a file structure that the computer can read. ie. Fat32
