Hello,
Due to health reasons I'm selling my beloved Canon 500mm that I just purchased last year.
It's been my dream lens for a while, but I just can't make the hikes anymore.
It's in excellent condition and comes with all accessories and LensCoat. If you'd like more images I can do that.
I'd like to get about 3700 OBO to me, PayPal accepted, you pay shipping.
Thank for looking,

I use that lens with a 7d and 1x4 converter and it works great for bird photography. And it is easily carried around for extended periods.

Hi Randy,
I've went through the Canon Mk I and II converters (along with others) and have never been happy with sharpness or performance.
I'm glad you're happy with your results, but to OP may not be.
Right now I use the 400L for BIF, just for sharpness, and the 500L for most other wildlife.
I have the 100-400L II on my 5DII for everything else in the field.
Just trying to save him some money that I wish I had done.

Would like to here opinions on this lens will use it on a canon 1ds 11mp and a canon 7d not the mark2. I will use it for wildlife on the 7d and flowers and weeds on the 1ds

Hi Gary,
I had the 300 f4 for about 3 months. It just doesn't have the reach for wildlife I wanted.
Maybe look at the 100-400L I IS which is about the same price or the 400 f5.6L along with a macro lens combo, which might cost a little more.
I went with the 400 f5.6 L and then got the 500 f4 IS for wildlife.
Maybe try renting to get a feel for it/them.
Hope this helps.

The ones that I buy at Walmart (and online in large quantities) are made by Zeiss, a company with experience with optics, so I trust them. I keep a lens shade on my lenses - no filters, and rarely need to clean goo off the lens - just blow the dust off with a Rocket Blower.

Another Zeiss vote from me.

If so, does it include a power-pack, stands, umbrellas, backgrounds?

Yes, but it depends on how much studio/off-site lighting you do.
You can get a decent lens for a full setup. :)
Maybe try a on camera flash with a Rouge Flashbender if you don't need it that much?

Depends on how important it is to you.
I stick to the 3K cameras and the 7k (birding) lenses, :)
Hope you find you answers. :)

Same for me, except for lenses. I go where I get the bet price and if I can save a few thousand, I'll try it.o

That's the same thing I did.
I still carry the 7DII more than anything.

Here is how I got mine, new in the box with ink for $90. This link on Craigslist is without ink. I use the cheap inks with no issue.

I really like the Canon Pro-100. You can get them for a good price ($250 rebate), but you'll need to pay about $80 for the ink.
Unless you get one in a bundle of some sort from B&H or Adorama, or someone.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I was wondering why the big Internet stores like Walmart, Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, and all the rest that like us to order from them don't give a percentage of what they make from the Internet to improve the Internet ie: access and speed? Maybe they could start a Go Fund Me page just for them to pay into. And that way support Us/We that buy from them using the Net.

They give plenty, believe me.
Obama /FCC added a taxes/fees.surcgarges so all people can get fee access)
It's all types of these (Federal Access Chace, Universal access charge, ...) hurting American business.
Yes I agree that some burden should be companies, but there are limits,

Hello All,
I just ordered the Nest gimbal from the Camera Cottage (MT Shooter).
I've heard so many good things, I can't wait to receive it.
The old Wimberley is just too heavy anymore.
Thanks for all the reviews here for the Camera Cottage, it made the choice very easy.
