For stuff that is moving- 7Dm2. for stuff that isn't 5DM4. Sounds like 2 cameras to me...

I'm suggesting the quality of the Otis is higher. If Canon felt so moved they could make equal quality. They obviously feel they can maximize there profit the way they are doing it. I'm not criticizing canon or anybody else for the quality or their price structure.

Zeiss lenses win the IQ contest. However they don't have auto focus. There zoom lenses are $$$$. I'm speaking primarily of IQ. For studio work, you can live very nicely with prime lenses . I believe the last Zeiss lens I had was made in Japan. Interesting, makes me feel were all being manipulated by the Japanese...

I have owned several lenses for my 6D. I couldn't afford to keep them all. I settled on the 24-70 2.8L m2 as the best compromise for the lot. There are better lenses, but if you have to pick one.. 24-70- 2.8L m2 would be my choice..
currently I shoot with a 7Dm2 and the 24-70 f2.8Lm2 . works for me..

The 6d isn't for photographing kids. They will be down the street before the camera figures it out. (to slow) The 7dm2 is the best for them..
The 6D is excellent for portraiture and scenery. The IQ of the 7dm2 isn't what you will get with the 6D however. If you have to pick one get the 7dm2(blistering fast). A 7dm2 and a 6d would be a winning combination..

What I ended up doing is taking the CD with the instruction manual in it to the copy store. I had it copied and bound to 8.5X11 size so I could read it. It took over 540 pages but was worth every penny of it. Now I can read about what ever I want with out being tied to this computer..

The instruction manual that is in CD form you received when you got the new camera can be copied. I took mine to the copy store and got it copied to 8.5 x 11. It is real easy to read now and I don't have to set in front of this damned computer if I want to read up on some subject. There are over 350 pages to my instruction book, so you might want to limit the pages copied to some lesser amount.. The only way to go..

I had a 6D for a while. It just wasn't fast enough, birds gone and the camera was thinking about it, IQ was outstanding however. Purchased a 7dm2, it is FAST, but not the IQ of the 6D. Looks like I need 2 cameras. One for scenes the other54 for speed. Been looking at the 5dsr, not as fast as the 7dm2 however..The 1dxm2 has both IQ and speed, Also the associated $$$$$$. Not as fast as the 7DM2 however. It comes down to "how do you want your poison". :o(

I traded my 6D for a 7dm2. The shutter delay was to much for fast moving birds. The 6D with canon "L" lenses is hard to beat in that price range...

I just sold a 6D to get a 7D2. The 6D is an excellent camera, just a little to slow for a lot of things I shoot. I suspect that a 5d3 will do everything the 80D will do. If your independently wealthy keep them both otherwise trade in the 80d..FF is a little overrated at this point in my opinion.
