That’s a great photo. Makes those thorny cacti look beautiful with that great light.

Thanks for sharing. I think they look great in B&W. Emphasizes the age and the fact that these old rigs have seen some hard use and now they are enjoying retirement.

That is a very nice photo. Don’t feel the need to apologize for having used your iPhone. The new ones are capable of taking some very fine images. They’re just a different style camera. You should post this in the Smartphone Photography section as there is a lot of interest there. Thanks for sharing.

Ha. It wasn't so much an apology as a way to get folks to take a peek at my post. I realize I could have posted in the Smartphone section but it doesn't have as many viewers. I'm glad you liked the set.

That’s a great set. Your phone takes pretty good photos. You might want to also post those in the Smartphone Photography section as there are no doubt some who only visit that section.

One person's art is another's trash, Greg. Someday I will post photos of all of the "art" spread across our development.

The dragon is pretty cleverly done, though.

Nicely done portrait of Clary. I pray for the best outcome for your grandnephew and your family.

Well, IMO, that’s an interesting piece, but seems like a bit of an eyesore in an otherwise very nice neighborhood.

These images are as shot, no post processing. The roof line appears to be level while the bottom of the stairs are not. I have a similar image taken with my Z8; most everything in the Z image is square and true and parallel. Perhaps at the moment I got this image there was a ripple in the space/time continuum? On the other side of the building is a sculpture showing space/time being warped.
I was inside this place several years ago; it closed soon after; it has since reopened to the public perhaps a year ago??? Have yet to get a look through their telescope.

Yes, the roofline appears to be nearly level but the stairs not so. I wonder if it was a phenomenon with the lens. I copied this image to photos and tried to correct it in the editing mode, but couldn’t do it quite right. But then I was using the built-in editing software in my iPad Pro and didn’t use a more sophisticated program. Sometimes a scene just fools the camera.
