The word for something you inadvertently have not kept, is "lose" pronounced "looze". The word "loose", pronounced "luce", (rhymes with "juice") means unfastened. Your shoelaces which are untied are "loose". You will"lose" your "loose" change if you have a hole in the pocket where you are carrying the "loose", now "lost" change which you did not take precaution to not "lose". This is grammar school stuff that you should know if you paid attention in grammar school. (Grammar school is, ostensibly, grades 1 through 8, if you are unaware of the meaning of "grammar school").
The word for something you inadvertently have not ... (

Unless by using
loose when you mean that as you review the individual pictures you delete the bad shots ,cutting them
loose. This would free a significant amount of space (depending, of course, on how many shots are
lost). Then save them to a disk for editing, and another external hard drive for a back up. You can then upload the final photos to a cloud and be assured that you will never be called a
loser again.
Regarding your ostensible definition of Grammer school:Your use of ostensibly, would be correct, ostensibly meaning "apparently or purportedly, but perhaps not actually", since the definiton for that particular school has several meanings.
1 : a secondary school emphasizing Latin and Greek in preparation for college
2 : a British college preparatory school
3: a school intermediate between primary school and high school
4: elementary school (this is apparently your declaimed usage. which is OK, I guess. ( Although it is the last definition in Merriam-Webster . . . ) ;>0
Looks like the horizon could be leveled up? :>)
Probably, look in the manual. :>)

Dave, Thanks for sharing. Your Sunflower Image is a Prize winner. Is that field grown every year? Any directions how to get to the field to capture it?
It is i th far northwest of South Dakota, Ziebach county - and this was taken Fall 2017, I have no idea about how the farmer rotates his crops.
Didn't know what else to call it?

Is the truck in image 5 a Diamond T?
Nope, it is a '46 ( or thereabout) Dodge.
I think many of the old deserted houses around here were abandoned back in the 70's when a lot of family farms were forced into default, and the houses went back to the banks. The farms were likely bought by corporate farms that didn't want the buildings, but since most of then were surrounded by wind breaks, it was too much trouble and expense to tear them down, so they just sat there as the paint peeled and the fell apart. Many of them had the original furniture, and other belongings left behind. Those items were often targeted by looters who absconded with them in the dark of night. M \y uncle had a family farm back then. 8 kids, and the had a vegetable garden, chickens, pigs, cows my siblings and I would beg our mom to let us skip the whole milk that they would, good naturedly, squirt into your mouth straight from the cow's teat. . .

The title this 'town' has no ZIP code, is because Abandoned Iowa is every where there. I am collecting shots of old courthouses in any states we visit. Most states are limited to the towns we go through on our trips, but since we live in Iowa we take many Saturday journeys through Iowa. These pictures we taken all over the state. From Winnebago to Marshall, Wappelo to Monona and Muscatine. Abandoned, Iowa, 00000-0000
