Where's ya take that? I think I wanna go back.
Not as far off as you might have been. The heavenly body - sun? moon? - is just about - though hardly precisely - on the 1/3 vertical, as your horizon is similarly related to a 1/3 horizontal. And, I should add, a lovely result, whether because of these measurements or not.
Its a crying shame what happened to all those people! You've documented it all very well indeed.

Just getting into this and I enjoy it.
Just like in conventional photography, I'll take credit for it.
Certainly a great job! Was it your idea to keep the human faces - that AI so often bungles - hidden, or was that AI's idea? And roughly how long did it take you to get this out of Copilot?
One thing the 850 has that neither the 800 nor the 810 have is Focus Shift shooting, where you can put the camera on a tripod and tell it to make up to 300 exposures, shifting the focus forward a small amount each time, helping you make focus stacked images. I had thought about using an adjustable device on the tripod to manually advance my 810, but I evidently lack the discipline for that sort of work. So I got an 850, and have enjoyed it enormously, with many focus stacked images since. It is a wonderful feature if you like to get close. If you'd care for an example, check

Ahh, them ole' Windsboro Cotton Mill Blues! Nice piece.
I think it's a pretty wonderful piece of work. Do you think you could add some headroom?

I am a Nikon shooter and was excited to put the Tamron z 150-500mm lens on my z50. I was ready to do more wildlife and birds in flight photography until I spent some time with this beautiful beast….it is too darn heavy for me to hold still and I am not inclined to lug a tripod around when I get the urge to shoot some wildlife when I am close to nature. At 75 I admit I am not as strong as I’d like and holding that lens isn’t getting easier.
So I am returning it to Adorama today and exchanging it for the Sony cyber shot RX10 IV. I guess a bridge camera isn’t so bad….(right?)…..and it sure will make my sometimes forays into nature a little easier. I just hope I don’t have pangs of regret and envy when I encounter folks with those big, beautiful telephoto lens in the field.🥹

You might try a lightweight monopod. It won't steady the camera except in the vertical direction, but that's the most challenging part with a heavy lens.

Just glanced quickly at your Flickr site. Some excellent work. Will look more closely when I have some time.
If I'm the "you," thank you for the compliment.
If you want to learn Photoshop, you might try Adobe Photoshop Classroom in a Book 2024 Release, published by Adobe. That's I started more or less a quarter of century ago when I got my first digital camera. It won't teach you everything - as has been noted, nothing will in a mere lifetime - but it got me up and going, and it made other advice I got easier to digest. You read a bit, then you get exercises, then you read some more, etc.

Absolutely disgusting... Great shot!
So, is it a "shot," or a concoction, or ... what?
How are you transferring, and what problems arise?
