I have some money from taxes that I can spend for a new lens. I am thinking g either the tamron 18 - 270 or the tamron 16 - 300. My question is will I notice much difference from 270 to 300 mm. I am leaning towards the 270 because of the price difference. But I don'twant to regret purchase later. Thanks for'any and all opinions.

I just had to check this out so I started counting and then I was then asked to leave the supermarket. I tried blaming
Wellheim but they said they had never heard of him, and when I said he writes on an Ugly Hedgehog the men in white coats arrived. We are apparently having stewed apple for dinner or so matron says.

You made me spit my coffee.

If I go Canon, then I'm giving it a Nikon D7100 to my daughter.

She's urgently hoping that you all will tell me to go Canon!

:-)

Go with the Nikon full frame line and a good lense. Then you could share lenses with your daughter.

I have the d3200 with 18-55 mm vr and 55-200 vr kit lenses. I am thinking of getting the 70-300 vr. Would I see that much of a difference with 100mm more reach and better IQ. Thanks for any advice
