Absolutely fantastic. I'm a hummingbird fanatic. Where in Ecuador were these? Did you do a tour or were you just very, very lucky? Do have a point of contact if I'm fortunate enough to be able to go? What equipment did you use? Sorry about all the questions but I'm really excited to see your outstanding photographs.

We stayed at the Tandayapa Bird Lodge, hummingbird overload. Search Youtube for Birding Adventures Tandayapa Bird Lodge. We saw that episode and kinda joked saying 'lets go there sometime'. We actually did go in 2016 along with Quito (and surrounding areas) and the Galapagos. Greg. PM me for more info.

Newegg provided the CT Department of Revenue Service with all sales to CT customers for a 3 year period. My neighbor received a tax bill from the DRS for several hundred dollars and will never buy from them again.

Thanks, got me silly. Reminds me of listening to a baseball game when the announcers introduced the new 6 foot, 495 pound pitcher. At least that what it sounded like.

Really sweet story. What make of piano? We had a Cable-Nelson Upright Grand that looked an awful like yours.

With that much chrome on a Chevy, just imagine that Cadillac's had to out do that, just because......

I have the new 10-20mm DX lens and took it on my D5600 along with my Tamron 16-300mm on a trip to Italy recently. 80-90% of the time I used the 10-20mm. Lots of cathedrals (duomo's) and landscapes. It is 1/3 the price of the 10-24. I can't compare the IQ but I have no issues with the one I have. Greg.

I've seen that on a documentary on TV. Really interesting to see it done live. We have 3-4 transmission lines in the woods behind our CT house. A few years ago we started hearing loud explosions every couple of hours, thought they were blasting to improve the access road. Nope, they were setting off imploding splices. Essentially an aluminum tube wrapped with det-cord. They'll prep a bunch at a time then set the group all off at the same time. It makes a much tighter splice than hydraulically crimping them.

I bought this lens for my D5600. Took it and my Tamron 16-300 on a trip to Italy. I used the 10-20 95% of the time, it's a nice lens especially for urban shots, lots of cathedrals etc. Greg.

Just Google 'sd card partition tool' and several (many free) come up. This should let you delete the 'too big' partition, and create a smaller, compatible sized partition. Didn't have any luck with Windows Computer Managment. Greg.

Can you run a disk utility and delete the partition and create a 2gig partition on a larger SD card? I'll give it a try. Greg.

I bought a Panasonic LX100 for my wife in early 2016. It came with 2 spare Wasabi batteries and charger (and probably a lens cleaning kit) as part of the 'package'. While prepping for a trip to Arizona in March 2018 I discovered the battery did not want to come out of the camera. Its case had swelled so it was a VERY tight fit. It took me several minutes to get enough of the battery out to get a grip on it. I compared it to the other Wasabi battery and they both had the same problem. The Panasonic battery slips right in. I have had this same problem many times with (computer) UPS batteries when they tire out. The ones we had could have been a bad manufacturing run? Got her another Panasonic battery, around $40 if I remember.

I remember seeing those signs as a kid travelling from CT to FL in the 1960's.
