UHH is a great site for support. Thanks all for your suggestions. Turns out that I could not reproduce the fault I described when viewing in-camera panoramic shots in Lightroom. I am not sure what caused the original problem, and unfortunately what occurred to resolve the issue.

The pano files are jpg and I am using Lightroom 6.1.4 (Perpetual version). Many of you recommended stitching separate photos. I will try that technique.

Thanks again,

I recently shot several panoramics using the in-camera feature of a Sony RX 10 III. The images look fine when viewed on the camera LCD. The images do not show properly in Lightroom. Is there a way to view in-camera panos in Lightroom?

Thx Tom Fama, BosStrap

I always look to Julieanne Kost for answers to any Lightroom questions. http://www.jkost.com/. Her many YouTube videos are clear and informative.

Hunt's is the best! I not only sell my BosStraps through them, but I buy my camera equipment from them. Each year, Hunts has two great store events in the main store in Melrose, MA (May and Nov/Dec) with major vendors representatives able to answer any questions. Hunt's prices are fair, the staff is very knowledgeable, and Hunts is very actively involved with the photo and birding community throughout the entire US. Be sure to get on their mailing list for specials and other great deals and events. From their website (https://www.huntsphotoandvideo.com), you can subscribe to their newsletter. If you cannot get to a brick and mortar store, they will likely be sponsoring a show in your area sometime during the year. Contact Gary Farber (digitalguygary@wbhunt.com) for show schedule and details.

I agree this is an excellent book. Photographer's Guide to the Sony DSC-RX10iii by Alexander White. Lots of clear explanations, photos and charts. It's a must for Sony RX10 owners.

Looking to trade a 24-120 Nikon lens for an 16-80 Nikon lens. The 24-120 came with a new D750 which I purchased about 2 months before the D500 came out. I sold the D750 and purchased a D500 body (I prefer DX format). The 24-120 lens is essentially new, includes hood, caps and bag. If you have a similar quality (virtually new) 16-80mm for trade, contact me.

I have a Nikon D500 and a Sigma 160-600mm Contemporary. I am considering a 1.4x teleconverter and would like any info on using a Nikon versus a Sigma TC.

Excellent suggestion. I currently have a strap similar to Pacsafe on my camera bag. Made by Daymakers, my strap has a 1/16 inch aircraft cable sewn into the fabric to prevent cutting by knife or scissors. Check www.daymakers.com. At current sale price, think the strap is under $20 USD.

Be aware that a thief intending to "cut and run" is not aware that your strap has a wire embedded in it until his blade hits it. When that happens you will have a knife at your back.... Embedded wire are false security.
