I have the Samsung S-22 and it takes better photos than my 35mm....
There are so many hidden features. I can crop, remove an object or someone, zoom, adjust brightness, and much more. They are amazing.

Most of the time when the Officer approaches the open window, he/she can smell cannabis...or even see it on the console. Many times when 'high', they aren't too smart about hiding it.
That is probable cause to search, If they say no, call the canine unit. If the dog alerts, they can search.
As a Sheriff's Reserve Deputy this happened often.

If you take any photos or videos that you would benefit from, you need an FAA Part 107 license.
I am recreational only, but if I was Part 107 I would carry insurance. No matter how small the drone is, it could cause damage and people are happy to sue. CYA

Take the micro mini card out and transfer photos/videos to PC.
There are many programs to work with the content, but I still use Picasa. Does all I need...only for photos though. I d/l videos to desktop and use CapCut to edit. Both are free. I know, I'm cheap!
Replace the Micro SD card and format in drone. Must use a very good card; like SanDisk Extreme Pro. 64 gig is good.

Don't know if you now have the Mini drone yet, but the Mini is pretty basic. DJI has the best drones...unfortunately they are a Chinese company. No one comes even close to their technology though. Rumors have it they use their drones to spy on US. NO ONE has proven this.
You might look at the DJI Mini 3:

https://www.dji.com/mini-3/specs

or Mini 3 Pro:

Both have RID in their firmware. (Remote Identification) An FAA requirement now extended to Mar 2024.
I have older drones: Phantom 4 Pro v.1 and a Mavic Pro. Solid drones.
Good luck and safe flying.

Great photos! Those critters are Yellow Jackets. To me, they seem a little more aggressive than Wasps. But the both sting like crazy!!

I was extremely lucky as a Naval Aviator in the '60's and '70's to fly many aircraft. Single engine props, multi engine props, single engine jets, twin engine jets...but my favorite was flying helos. Jet Rangers, Huey's, Sikorsky VH-34's, Sikorsky SH-3's, and CH-46's. Would take a helo over a jet any day! Jets go fast, but a Huey flying at 20 feet at 120kts; (138 mph) is FUN flying. You come up on a tree, you go around or over it! Ah...the good 'ol days!

I don't care if she is still doing it. I just wonder about the law on my posting the sign. I don't care to catch her in action. Can the city makes me take the sign down?

If you don't care if she is using your water, then why do you want to post a sign?

So, I'm photographing covered bridges (91) in the state of Indiana. Many bridges in rural areas have property owner fencing adjacent to the roadway with no trespassing signage in clear view. There intent is obvious...stay the hell off my property. But here is the thing; there is a ten foot right of way on both sides of the road, and they are eliminating access with their fencing. The dilemma: obey the signage, or assert your right to public access. To get to the waterway to photograph the bridge, I need access. I assert my rights. Additionally, some prohibit access to the waterway the same way...but here is the thing, they do not own to the shore line, only to the high water mark, which is defined by flooding. Knowing the law, I assess the situation and determine how bad I want that waterway view of the covered bridge, and act accordingly. I know the law, and I know my rights...but, I don't know the hostility that could come down on my head. I take a pocket full of money, and if necessary, I'll buy my way out of hostility, and I walk away with the shot! Got to have guts, determination, and a clear view of what you are doing. Navigable streams are owned by the state. Having fun but being cautious also. Get the shot!

Those of us that fly drones for photos and videos have a similar problem. MOST do not know the FAA laws that 'some' of us follow. I can fly over a house, people, cars; but I cannot stop. Only pass over; just like an aircraft, which is what the FAA calls drones. I stay around 150' to 200' high, but they think I am trying to spy on them. If I wanted to do that I would pull Google Earth and look at them. I have some great photos and videos that I could never get from the ground.

Have booth updated. Just found what I was doing wrong. Thanks for the input.

Glad you got it fixed. You might want to go the Mavic 3 forum for more infortation. A wealth of knowledge there.

John recently gave away his Boeing 707 which he was also the pilot. Parked it at his house!

We were caught up in the horror show in the blizzard at Midway Airport in Chicago with Southwest Airlines Dec 23 to Portland, Or. Won't go into details on THAT experience. Finally got a flight out of our home airport Dec 27; BMI in central Illinois on Delta to Portland, Or. Round trip for 2 over $3700.00. Not 1st class...in the back. So you got a deal!!!

Most have no idea what an Officer deals with all the time. If you ever have a chance, do a ride-along and then you can appreciate what they go through.

I've been flying drones for about 5 years. I have 2 Chinese drones..they own the drone market. Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic Pro. It took me a very long time to get the nerve to fly over water. Finally flew to the 'edge' of the lake and turned my camera down to look and almost panicked. I was about 50' from the shore! I then realized they will actually fly over water! Do it all the time now.
