I was at a volleyball game last night & during a timeout, I turned my lens toward one of the twins who was watching her big sister.
I'm always trying to catch a decent shot to hang on a wall, but it's tough to get a 3 yr old to pose they way you want. I thought I had one with this unaltered jpg (I shoot raw +). Nice smile, good tilt of the head. Could have been a little sharper but I thought the softness helped her complexion. The bokeh was looking pretty good until I got to the left side of the shot.
Not enough space to the left & an ugly arm filling the void. A potential homer turns into a foul ball. :(

I posted an image of a black squirrel recently and was told by a couple of hoggers that they had never seen a black squirrel before.

As it turns out they are very rare save in East Texas. I would say that every fourth squirrel I see is a the Eastern Texas Black Squirrel...the black squirrel is a melanistic sub group of the Eastern Grey Squirrel and is reportedly seen across only 1 in 10,000 times. Not so in east Texas as you can read in the text of this link:
