The P900 has a NIKON Lens. Need I say more. But, so does the P1000. I am quite satisfied with my P900. Also have a P7000, and take both on trips. I went through the Nikon film cameras , and after going digital, about 2005, I sold all of my lenses and went with the P7000. Couple of years back, bought the P900. At my age, 74, a lot easier, and Lighter, than all (7) of those lenses. Had a couple of 24 x 30 inch prints made with both, and they are amazing !
Jerry, Might I suggest you go back on your Medication !
Interesting set of images. Sort of reminds me of the Irish song of the "Mary Ellen Carter". Though in this case, she will (hopefully) rise as another ship.
Interesting list. A lot I have never seen before. Dog Fish Head 90min. IPA is a GREAT tasting beer. This is probably the Best time to be alive if you are a beer drinker. So many choices, and SO LITTLE TIME !!
Thanks for the list..
INTERESTING CAPTURES"! Thanks for sharing.
" 'Tis a Good Scotsman who knows how to play the Pipes, But A better one who chooses NOT to."
The one about the Turn Signals is quite correct. But, HEY, Folks do not realize that the "GREEN LIGHT" means to put down that Darn phone, and GOOOO !
A LOTTA LAUGHS THOUGH, Thanks !
Eleven years ago, when we had just moved to Pa., we purchased a six burner, two oven stove from Sears. The wife is deliriously happy with it. BUT....Sears is headed in the same direction as Montgomery Wards,(remember them?) so I am afraid I cannot be of any help. Good Luck.
I have a Nikon P900. The P1000 is an "upgrade", to the P900, I believe. The P900 has a 28 to 2000 Zoom. Great camera. I have an older P7000 that I usually take along. It's smaller than the P900. Some folks here have the P1000. What can you say, It IS a NIKON !
I thought it was a Pennsyltucky thing. I am quite sure it has nothing to do with Big Oil giving large amounts of cash to Politicians.
As a retired Police, I can tell you for a fact that Mace does NOT work on everybody. If the dog, in question, is that small, mayhap she should be CARRYING the dog ! Of course, if the dog in question is on a leach, the Hawk may end up carrying the lady, with the Mace, off as well. Now, That would be a great Photo.
How about, "an individual who has some sort of device for capturing images with which he is satisfied"!
They do have a planned event in the evening, with lights, at Mt. Rushmore. We thought it was worth the trip back. I don't know about leaving lenses at home. I use a Nikon P 900 so..... But you will enjoy the area.
Your 18-140 should be all you need. Seems to me, back in 2003-2006, I was doing the same type of shots for a local newspaper and I had a Nikon 24-120, I believe. Yeah, that 18-140 AM the Lens. Good Shooting !
I have lived in the Baltimore are of Maryland, and the bottom of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Now I live in the York area of Pennsyltucky. You would logically think the folks up here, could drive safely in snow. Well partner, You'd Be Wrong.
The advice given on that sign is Perfectly correct.
