That's a bit like wishing your car would run on three wheels! (Unless it's a Morgan, of course)
A terrific shot - thanks for all the work!
You should notice that this statement was from the head of Sony Semiconductor, which makes the chips and sensors. Not the head of Sony Cameras.
So there may not be consensus within Sony!
Why do we have to separate the two? Good photography is art!
Love the shots, Sylvia - I recently read one of the Eric Ward mystery novels by Roy Lewis that featured the green fishermen's huts. Great to see your photo of them. Thanks!
Great, Dave!
I paticularly like the first one.
I did a quick Lightroom edit to increase the exposure on the rider, and didn't take enough care to remove the space between his legs!
Thanks! I missed that one
Great shot - thanks!
Maybe if I were 60 years younger!
But I'd probably start on the Bay.
We went to Berkeley yesterday and walked along the shore of San Francisco Bay where we saw this interesting contraption.
The driver was standing on it, and as he sped up it rose out of the water about 2-3 feet, with a support and presumably a propeller staying submerged.
He seemed to have a speed controller in his hand, and steered it by leaning.
At one point he fell off, got back on and off he went again!
What is this thing?
Great shots, Dave - those bees are really doing their jobs to judge by the pollen!
Welcome!
Did you know that there is a Sacramento Photographers Group on Facebook?
Lot's of local tips and shots.
We're not pros, and particularly with wildlife shots that show the animal/bird in different poses, choosing one as "Best" may not be that useful!
I love all of this series - keep doing what you're doing!
Using dual monitors makes this much easier for me - using the grid view on one monitor and viewing full screen on the second, and as several have mentioned, using the P key to flag the potentially good ones. And the X key to reject the out of focus or otherwise bad ones.
This allows a quick pass and then a more leisurely look at the flagged ones. And the ones I didn't flag are still there if I want to review them again later.
