Very similar to instruments designed and played by the Corries in the 1970's.

The Persistence of Memory
The
You are a thinker, and like to challenge yourself, and others on what life really means. Reality to you is subjective, and it is an interpretation by each individual. Your seeking of knowledge can sometimes get you into dark places. You are deeply analytical and this can prevent you from being fully present in the moment. Not to worry though... others are intrigued by your intense intellectual nature, and some of your most rewarding moments are in having deep, philosophical conversations with friends or strangers. When you are not contemplating life, you are a lover of music and expression. Your open mindedness attracts others and makes them feel more comfortable with trying out new things. Like The Persistence of Memory, you make others think, and definitely outside of the box.

We have it already. It's called "Malt Whisky" and for the women, "Red Wine"

We have used Naked Wines for three or perhaps four years now and have not had a bad wine yet.

We have a standing order set up which pays them money every month and together with everyone else who does this, allows them to support small wine producers; all over the world: and this allows them to supply those of us who provide the cash, to get good quality wine at well below shop price.

This system takes care of wine supplies for Christmas and other occasions and allows us to have a couple of cases delivered; usually the next day if ordered in the morning: If we need a top up.

We are more than happy with Naked Wines and will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

Nice shots. It was dry here in West Yorkshire till about seven this evening and then very light fine drizzle turning into fine snow which in the last four hours has settled in and covered everything to about two inches deep and still falling. It is three degrees C in the greenhouse so it is probably two or three degrees lower outside.

No photos tonight as we are surrounded by street lights but I hope to get a couple tomorrow in the daylight with the dog playing in it.

Water is a universal requirement for life. The main threat to our water is the mega-corporations who want to patent or otherwise take control of our water. Once we allow that to happen, we are well and truly in the sh*tter.

The costs for Ferrari dealership services are three or four times what you pay in the U.S. and have 20% tax added on top of that.

I use a Mac Pro and yes, it was expensive. However, In the seven years that I have owned it, I have also had to buy five windows laptops, three windows desktop computers and various software upgrades to suit windows upgrades, for work, all of which have cost considerably more than my Mac Pro.

The Mac has never crashed or picked up a virus and while it could be a bit faster now, it works perfectly and software updates have been minimal and inexpensive. We all know how exotically expensive windows software/updates are.

So yes, initially a Mac will cost a lot more than a PC but it will also last much longer than a PC so is eventually a cheaper machine to buy and use compared to a PC.

Now that I am retired and no longer need to have a "Windows" computer for work purposes, I am about to upgrade my old Mac for the new Power Pro.

I just hope that my wife does not want/need something of an equivalent value. :-)
