They just don't like my camera or me. Its hit and run. I don't get many decent shots of them.

Warning! Down load file is huge.

Very well done!

I know these won't be to everyone's taste, but I am enjoying using my Olympus OMD EM1 for HDR work. These were taken in the county town of East Sussex, Lewes.

Beautiful, well done!

Critique is welcomed.

Someone who understands science! Although I believe they said at the start that both monkeys were eating the cucumber prior to this test.

Thanks for that info Rob. I just went back and listened again, very carefully this time, as somehow I totally missed that.

I'm convinced!

I sent in a post over the week-end titled 'My First Bird Shot'. It was meant to be a joke but, after I posted it, I was concerned I might offend the many bird photographers on the forum. With that in mind, I deleted the post.

The story should end there but it doesn't. As of this morning, my post with nothing in it had 828 views and 20 comments. I don't think the actual picture could beat that but I'm posting it out of respect to those who looked. My apologies to all my bird photography friends.

The original text read as follows:

I've always admired the work of all the talented bird photographers on the forum so I decided to give it a try. I hid in my bird blind and waited patiently until this little guy came along. I caught him just before he flew into his house. I'm new at this so please help me identify this bird.

I did not see your original post, neither do I know the name of the little guy/gal, but....it is such a cute photo! Well done!

It crossed my mind that maybe the monkey just did not like cucumbers.

I'd be more convinced of the accuracy of it all, if I saw a video of both monkeys eating more than one piece of cucumber.

Just sayin."

Day two of photographing hummingbirds. I decided to hand hold the camera and see how close I could get to this little guy that was sitting on this branch guarding the feeder. Please feel free to tell me if I am doing something totally wrong..... Want to learn.

Overall, it appears to me you did a pretty good job of it. The first one is out of focus, but the second two are well done.
