what i hated about the 300prime is that you are always to far or too close and to adjust you have to move forward or backward all the time

Depends on what you shoot but MMA you get pretty close to the action son a 85 can be good when they are on the far side of the ring.

I own 14mm ultra wide 2.8, a 15-85mm 4-5.6, wide angle 10-20 4-5.6, 50mm 1.8 , 85mm 1.8. I used to have a 300 4 5.6 but i hated it

I work with a Canon 60D and a 7D and for me having to spend 5000$ on a full frame camera dosent worth it at all
I only shoot action sports and my 2 cameras does more than the job
i also use a 70-200 2.8 from sigma and they work great
I am published every month in 5 magazines for the last year and i can pull out better shots than people with a 1dX or a 5D MIII
