Spiders in macro & close up.
There must have been between 50-100 babies in a couple of mm area.
I sprayed a small amount of water on them to slow them down a bit, that didn’t work too well did it. πŸ˜€

Get some root tone from the garden store. You dip the cut stalks off and dip it in root tone and it promotes root growth. We used it when we cloned plants.

Thanks Drbob yep done that πŸ™‚

Nope. We've been here over twenty years and it wasn't long after we moved in that she planted a couple (I don't remember the source whether cuttings, sets, or seeds), but there were two varieties. Each had distinctively different foliage and as I remember the one that died tended to have flowers that were a little darker red, but the flowers were the same otherwise. The one that remains comes back like gangbusters every year and gets no special care. We do cut it back after the blooming ends, but no feeding or any other special treatment.

Hi, we only have the red version which grew back this year with a vengeance.
I have taken cuttings this year (last week) & put them in Vermiculite see if they take.

Cindy very nice set fav is No 3, the darkest one. πŸ™„ but I can see the quality of the fall long exposure. πŸ‘
Nos 3 & 7, lighten or up the exposure on no 3 & no 7 the bottom of the fall looks a bit blown, see if you can work on that.
Other than that I like all long or short fall shots.
