Just one question, why would you comment with the words "assumes and "the", your comment sounds a little like a put down when read a second time. I am sure its not, but thought I would ask the question....

I was one of two photographers, my mate was the main photographer and i was second shooter. The aim was for me to get the shots the main photographer would miss along with the candids. I loved it.

Next week the photos will be in the hands of the bride, and we have full permission to use what ever shots we need or want to.

I jumped to the D800, a challenge and a learning curve to beat most. But I would not go back and i love my D800.

But we often tell American tourists that out of 60millon population we can not be expected to know where their great great uncle lives.

Also "we" over the big pond SE of Idaho are a fairly well traveled lot. Indeed I will be in New England for 3 weeks in this year, something like my 20th time. It would have been more but 9/11 made travel to the states so difficult we went elsewhere for several years.

This is possibly why Americans can some times be viewed as being insular (this is not a view I hold)
