I'm glad to hear that. My new D750 is arriving from B&H tomorrow and I sure hope it doesn't already need a repair. Hopefully it was manufactured after the problem dates.

best is to check if it's affected, if it is then you can decide you want to return for exchange or send it to Nikon...

And how exactly does one "Check your D750 if affected?"

look in www.nikonuse.com under 'Service and support',
or try the link below:-

Some Nikon D750 digital SLR cameras manufactured in Oct 2014 - Dec 2015 - may not function normally, sometimes resulting in shading of a portion of images. Check your D750 if affected.
I just finish packing mine and ready to be send out in the morning...

It means that NikonUSA won't have anything to do with the gear.

NikonUSA is a marketing company that licensed by Nikon in Japan to sale Nikon product in US they imported; to protect them self, the price you paid for nikon product included warranty repairs therefore they only repair their own products. tell me if I am wrong.

Hey, no need to go crazy. If you don't want to see gray market stuff, simply stay off eBay.

Agree, B&H and Adorama give you their store warranty for their gray items, so, make sure it said "NIKON US WARRANTY", I buy gray and non gray market items.

This was the "D400" many of us waited for--and settled for something else. Anyone who has used a D300, and it's predecessor the D300s knows....

;-)

waited too long, got the D750 & D7100 instead.

Just saw this as Nikon's dx flagship being released 20.9 mpx. Tilting screen. Hi 5 iso of 1,640,000. Pro, weather resistant body. If this is true I feel a gas attack coming on. Also D5 announced. Anyone else heard this?

It came tooo late, got my D750, I like it better beside it's full frame and will not go back!!!

I have 16 mo old twin girls that are a nightmare to try to photograph, but after I've spent all this money for equipment, I'm determined to learn how. I generally use a 24-70mm 2.8 and Nikon d7100. I have good natural lighting in my house and would prefer not to use a flash. I started out with a 4.0 f stop and boosted my ISO, my problem is...I can't seem to get my shutter speed high enough to freeze them. Setting suggestions, PLEASE???

Use auto ISO; set it to max 8000 or higher ISO and set max shutter speed to f/125 and use either A or S priority. happy shooting.

If the seller says covered by their store warranty you can bet it's a Grey Market camera.

or if you don't/can't find serial number on the product.

It is a picture of photographer Sharon Lee Chapman. She uses 3 cameras to shoot at the track. In this photo, she has picked up 2 remote cameras. The big lens looks like my Nikon 300mm f2/8.

I can't get $300 today . And iif your talking shutter clicks this one has under a hundred . I was offered $3000 for it before digital came along .
I never used it as it was to costly . And I was shooting a 35mm SLR loaded with slide film

Agree on sell it now. no need for backup unless you are like me, when you travel thousands miles away from home, its best to have a back up. I missed many ops while am 13000 miles away because didn't have a backup.

I also kept mine as a backup. You will be lucky to get $250.

I sold my D300s for $500.00 which is on the lower price range here!!! I upgrade to D750 & D7100 for backup, because I really don't want to carry 2 different battery system when I travel.

I wouldn't think so. I hook one eyelet on one side of my camera. And I hook the other one on the bottom of my battery pack that has an eyelet. I don't like hooking to the tripod socket either.

Thanks Tracy, but I am hooking the strap to one eyelet only.

I would like to use the shoulder sling strap for my D750 or D7100 but hooking onto one of camera's eyelet instead of the tripod socket, would anyone know if using only one of Camera's eyelet will be strong enough to support the whole camera?
