I took a drive today and thought I would share some of it with you.

The snake is cool, trash is not. Some people had no upbringing to speak of.

tiger swallowtail, no? beautiful shot

Tiger swallowtail yes. There are a few varieties of the Tiger, I'm not sure which one this is. If you are interested go to BAMONA.com for all butterfly and moth questions.

Some have no blue on them at all. The ones we see around here are strickly black and yellow. Here's an example.

Yes this variety is the state insect of Virginia where I live. You photo is georgeous.

Absolutely gorgeous photographs, those litlle beggers will never sit still for me at all, they practice the butterfly version of "humans learnig to fly" touch and goes!

Frustrating as I planted a lantana bush that is now 15 feet wide by 6 ft tall. The will not go near it!

Ian
Thankyou. They really won't stay still, these 3 photos are the best of about 20 I took .

I don't like snakes but your photos show the amazing variety of scale markings on venemous snakes and would make good photos for an Audabond field manual.

What in the S am Hill is redfield fractalius? Some kind of Roman torture. I like the effect though.

I've got a whole pile of firewood left from the winter, I know there is a good candidate for this project there. Thankyou.

Very nice. From all the angles you must have really burned up some shoe leather. Thanks for sharing.

I took all those photos from my seat. My Olympus has a great zoom lens.
