Most people don't even look at the sulphur hills behind them with all their different colors, some of my better pictures are of them. Your catching the pink skies at sunrise is great....
Love the colors & intensity of this picture. The storm clouds and the waves breaking against the rocks. I'd hang that one over my mantel, if I had one......
#1- Because it looks more like a natural setting, bars and concerts are normally a little darker. I guess the spot light could be on him in #2 thou. I just talked myself into 2. I love what you did to #3.......
Nicely done, on all of them. I love the colors, they are so suttle and the reflective tape doesn't jump out at you, like it does with most flash....
Stunning Picture, Photogirl

At the End of the Rainbow I found a Sunset in a small Valley.
Beautiful, love the iridescent rainbow.....thanks for sharing.
I posted these once before, but when you mentioned " Chasing Rainbows " I couldn't resist. I was the only person in Makoshika Park during the rainstorm, and this is what I found.
Thanks for the Link Jay Pat, 40 years on the railroad and I've never heard of Pole Railroad.....Very Interesting. If you want to see a " steam donkey " work---Watch Walt Disneys, " Snowball Express ", but you better have the kids watch it with you, one of my old time favorites..
Route 66 in a old car with a good air conditioner, and a couple of friends to enjoy the ride with. Heard they are rebuilding alot of the old buildings, motels and gas stations along the way. I go to a few car shows with a friend in his car, and travel as a group ( 8 to ten cars ) we have a blast every trip. Some wear the sixties clothing, paislies and poodle skirts etc, others drive VW vans all decorated up with peace signs, or a old Rat Rod you wonder how it still runs. It's fun to watch the other peoples reactions on the road, they don't want to pass till they get their pictures, or they pull over on the other side of the interstate to take pictures. It would be fun to go as a group, just for the Photo ops...You asked- P.S. Then take the roads less traveled home.....
These pictures were taken of my nieces wedding over in Scotland, I have her permission to use. I thought they were done very tastefully and were very intrigued by the photographer taking them......I'm sorry I can't tell you whether or not he was in the water with her or taking them like we do at a aquarium. ( will ask her when I see her ) ...Note, I did not take these pictures...

Thanks.....sleepy51.... for adding another dimension to just how "Bleu Horses" came to reside upon this hillside. Interesting! Sure.....if you want add a few close-up pictures I'm sure others might find them intriguing as would I. Appreciate your asking & willingness to share some close-ups. Bob
I hope these give you a better look, I miss seeing them traveling to Billings where my son lives. It's like you say, if you don't look close at them, you would think they were real...
I have some close-up pictures of these horses if you like. The story behind them, is a artist made them for Miles City , Montana, because they have "The Bucking Horse Sale " ( Rodeo ) every year. The artist who built them, set them up there and left them there for a year, with hopes that the city would purchase them, because Miles City is known for Cowboys and horses..... The city couldn't come up with the money, and there were no private individuals willing to donate the amount wanted..so he picked them up and brought them to where they are at now.
Nostaliga is right, Beautiful cars, I drove a 60-Impala like that all thru high school....348, 3 on the tree, yellow with a white top...paid 450.00 for it, with only 29,000 miles on it. Only blemish it had was a powder burn in the center of the roof, where I was sighting in my deer rifle.
Looks like a Downy Woodpecker....to me.
I wasn't standing between the rails on this one, rail broke and came up thru the bottom of the car, if you look close you can see the angle bars....thanks for the invite Hal, always love the rail pictures.....
