Showing the before and after really speaks for the work. Awesome job.

Title changes can only be made for an hour after posting, same as opening comments and replies (the exception is in Buy/Sell forum).

Misplaced blame has become rampant in our society, made more dangerous by how quickly comments can be seen by others and passed along. Critical, thoughtful examination of facts is a nearly extinct art.

I have a Nikon 18-105 that has a broken mount so it is loose on the camera. Do you think it is worth having fixed or should I look for a used 18-140 new version of the lens? I am open to other lens suggestions also.

Sounds like trying to repair the mount yourself is a good route to go if you're handy with tools.

For what it's worth, which ever way you go, I have been using the Nikkor 18-140 as my basic go-to/walk around lens for 3-4 years now and have been happy with the results.

Years ago when I was working off-shore I found a quick easy method of labeling electronic barrel plugs and cables was to 'paint' a section with Liquid Paper correction fluid, then write whatever I needed with an ink pen.

Sounds like one could use this data to make a case that some of the most effective changes made in post processing would be luminance changes.

Beautiful shot! I don't know why, but the first thing that comes to my mind is that would make a wonderful jigsaw puzzle.

I think Linda's comment about common courtesy was spot on.

Great image Jim-Pops! I really appreciate your tutorial and it's demonstration that it doesn't always take hours and hours of PP to create a truly remarkable picture.

I became a hardcore fan of this series after the first couple episodes. I never cared that much or any of the other 'spin-off' series from the original, but this one is that good. It will be interesting to see how this series plays out as the Discovery' series is supposed to take place about 10 years before the original series' 5-year mission.

I shot this with creating the pano in mind and I was surprised how easy it was. It is a combination of 10 photos. It was very hazy and I was concerned that would be an issue but it didn't seem to be a problem.

For those of you that have done pano's before, do you process the photos individually then stitch them together or do you do it after they have been stitched?

Nice Pano! These can get addicting quickly. Something you can try when you are feeling more experimental is combining shots to make the panorama both horizontal and vertical.

I ordered an Amazon Fire TV stick, and I'm giving up on Roku. Although it used to work, now it tells me I have no Internet connection, and it pauses for "Loading" every few seconds. It's connected and set up correctly, so maybe it's a problem with the stick itself. Aside from that, my TV works fine. I'll give Amazon a chance when it arrives tomorrow, and if that does the same thing, I'll return it.

I know the Roku gets better reviews, but if it doesn't work, it's no good to me.

Just out of curiosity, how old is your Roku? I have 3 different 'generations' of Firestick, with the oldest being the most finicky. Another question is, does this happen on all apps you watch? My wife uses Hulu almost exclusively and has far more streaming and connections with it than I do with Netflix.

Lots of controversy can get stirred up with this question.

My personal feeling is that I have never yet had a satisfying experience with the Apple phones or iPads I have had to use for work and have no intention at all of messing with an Apple computer.

Having said that, A good friend of mine (who used to part own a PC computer shop a few years ago) just bought a used Apple laptop to use with software in his music room. His comment on it is "it just plain WORKS", and he wishes he had got one several years earlier.

You will get strong opinions on this from both sides. Bottom line, go with what YOU feel most comfortable with.
