My first two test strips came out!!!

I know that the color balance is off but I just wanted to verify that I could cut the paper in the dark, shine the light on the correct side and that SOMETHING would appear!

I timed the time in the trays with a pocket metronome I just arbitarily used 2.5 minutes in developer, 20 seconds in stop, and 2.5 minutes in blix.

The bottom strip is the first test strip and the top is the second one after adjustment.

Wow! What a thrill.

I can't wait to get the jobo.
My first two test strips came out!!! br br I know... (show quote)

Color balance is the hard part. A color analyzer will help. There are Many Bessler analyzers for sale on Ebay, and quite inexpensive. Good luck and don't get frustrated...

Sure you can, it all depends on what one considers solid and what one is using the tripod for.
I routinely put $5000 worth of camera on a $100 tripod without worrying about it because I know the tripod will do the job.

Can anyone tell me when to use "Reply" and when to use "Quote Reply"
I'm assuming "Quote Reply" is used to reply to a Hogs comment about your post. Is that a correct assumption?

Go with Vuescan! Don't bother with Silverfast. It is way over priced. Vuescan does it all for 80 bucks and FREE upgrades FOREVER.
