I don't understand why camera manufacturers make the battery compartment door so it comes off the camera. I had a shoot at a football game and the door popped off and I could not find it!! Luckily I always have my backup camera. Why would anyone want to take it off anyway?

I am starting to do Event Photography and I want to make quality prints on site 5x7 to 11x13. Need a printer that can handle high volume. I have seen the kiosk style want something better. Any help would be very appreciated

I will get to that lens soon but for now just starting pro so for now I just want a lens combo that i can afford to get best results. Do plan to get 35mm for close quarters and a portrait lens to use with limited space so I'm thinking 50mm.
