Love the shot, I grew up in Tempe. The desert is starting to bloom right now, best time for Pics. I reside up in Alaska these days.Don't know exactly where that shot is but reminds me of out by Saguaro Lake turnoff off bee-line ,used to drive over 4 peaks road all the time , go over the mountain to roosevelt lake. Keep up the good Views, John
Nice. Where were you that you found both a Cardinal and those desert-type plants? A botanical garden? Texas perhaps (since Texas has a mix of Eastern & Western plants and animals)?

well i did not want to spend to much like I said it is just a hobby and i do not use that sigma lens all the time mostly when there are eagles and geese that migrate around here I have seen some for $100.00 bucks or a little more And I know that is cheap but just need something so i do not have to carry that lens all the time
I just bought the Sevenoak gho1 (100 Bucks) its fine i think, works well enough for me , I'mm like you just hobby and beats carrying around by hand.
I would make arrangment to have a boat and head to Roosevelt lake or Apache lake,I've seen the most there, they love to fish. I used to live down there ,was born there in Mesa. Went fishin all my life with father all around Arizona, Reside in Alaska now. If you really want to see and photograph Eagles bad best place to go is Alaska, I see them every day here pretty much.
That's funny, that's the one i was looking at, gimbal head i mean. That part in between i think is just an adaptor for gimbal head to Quarter inch trypod screw. I'm thinking about purchasing this gimbal because its cheap like me, plus it says it has a bearing on the verticle adjustment, most other cheap ones don't.
