For oldtigger--on newer cell phones, the charging cord can become a USB cable.

I, too, am a t2i owner and was looking for a lens or lenses to use for flowers and birds. I'm not certain that one lens will do for both subjects. I found a canon 75 to 300 on e-bay for a resonable price but haven't had an occasion to use it. I also found a Tamron 18 to 270 on e-bay and have taken it out once. I like the the results, so far. The t2i has developed a spot on the sensor that I don't like and went to e-bay again and found a t3i. It is supposed to come later this week. That combination is going to Korea with me next week. We'll see what happens!
