I just saw an article about what you are saying. It said that the sensor in the camera is so good that the slightest focus error will yield shots that look fuzzy or just not real sharp. True or not I will leave that up to you.

Jim,
I have the Nikon D7100. It has a learning curve but the more I use it the easier it becomes. Just beginning to scratch the surface. My problem is not enough time to use it as much as I would like to. My advice to you, read your manual, go to the Nikon site and they tutorials for your camera and lastly shoot with it!!1
