I don't know what is going on in our culture anymore but ay too many people are suffering frm some sort of mental illness that enables them to thing the craziest shit is perfectly rationale. Those that admire Che Guevara are either crazy themselves, psychotically stupid or just don't know anything about the real Che Guevara. The psychopathic atrocities he committed and power crazed dementia that this guy was suffering from knew no bounds. Both of these guys, Castro and Che Guevara, are truly sick.

Another thing that is worth mentioning is that all but the landscape photo are from a group of pictures I took with the Galaxy S5 phone that I was originally disappointed with and would have thrown away if my friend hadn't wised me up to using several different photo apps and with those I was able to get them fixed up quite a bit. My original complaint was that my photos just didn't capture the true size, scope and grandeur of these settings. Even after working on them they still don't do that but I was able to turn them into acceptable pictures for my purposes. I am hoping that I can get things more to my liking with the new camera.

Welcome! That last shot is a beauty. I'd crop out the railing in the bottom left; it distracts from the otherwise beautiful scene.

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't see that rail until after I posted it. I have since fixed it and added another photo.

I just cropped the rail out. That's a good example of where I am at though. That picture was taken only a few months ago and before I really knew much about cropping a picture. For me being able to cut out that rail makes this picture a keeper. I realize now that I've thrown away a ton of photos that I could have fixed easily.

I'm in my 60's and while I have always liked photography and saved pictures on my computer and purchased photo books over the years I have never felt confident about taking pictures. Little by little digital photography has changed all of that. The big advantage for me was knowing instantly whether my picture was any good. Recently a professional photographer friend of mine showed me how to download several apps to my Galaxy S5 phone camera and crop and enhance several photos that I thought were a disappointment. From there I really got the bug for this and went and purchased a new Sony NEX 5T camera and I am busy learning to use it. I live in Middle Tennessee which is very pretty anyway and ride a motorcycle so my primary interest is taking pictures as I travel around on my motorcycle. We have a long motorcycle trip planned for the late Fall in New England when the leaves turn gold so I am trying to learn as much as possible as quick as I can so we can get some good photos while we are traveling. Any suggestions on where to learn more, good books I should look at or other websites that might be useful would very much be appreciated. I look forward to getting more involved here as I progress.

Ventura is scary nuts. Every time I hear him speak I am shocked that he was ever elected to anything much less the Governor of Minnesota.

Of course it's the same with Obama. Both of these elections and more just show how desperate we are for some decent leadership in this country. So desperate that we will "try" anybody, no matter how unqualified, that promises to do better.

I'd love to know if and how much Ventura got paid to speak in Havana.

Obviously, you've a lot to learn about confirmation bias. If you think the world is flat, and only one station tells you that it is, of course you are going to trust them the most, regardless of how true it is.

If you ask people "Is the news source you watch the most trustworthy?" you will naturally get 100% of the people saying "Yes".

You don't suppose that they may have compared FOX to what else is available and decided that FOX was more trustworthy from their own experience. Remember, FOX is not beating these other channels by a little bit either. The numbers are way beyond what would pass as an acceptable plus or minus fudge factor.

If you don't mind James I think this will be my last response. This is not the sort of thing I enjoy or want to spend a lot of time with. So, in the tradition of FOX News you would be welcomed to have the last word on this subject. I will even check back to read you response but no matter what your response is I am moving on. Best Wishes.

Once again are showing clearly that you absolutely do not know anything about FOX NEWS. They always present both sides. How do you think they came up with the Fair & Balanced trademark. You guys are just going psycho because you can't keep brainwashing people with that some old liberal drivel anymore. When FOX came up with that Fair & Balanced description of their news presentation they really struck a nerve because the public already knew they were being lied to and in appreciation they ran to FOX News as a safe haven from the liberal media.

Again, I ask- If a disgraced Democratic Administration planned a news channel to spread one side of every story when all stories have 2 sides and then the chief planner of that channel was part of the administration and became the founding president of that channel, could it be called "Fair and Balanced?"[/quote]

Don't be a fool. The US is a laughing stock around the world because
a) we refuse to acknowledge climate change.
b) We have mass killing is schools and movie theater but refuse to do anything about them.
c) we want to teach creationalism instead of evolution in schools.

I am glad you hate America and Americans so much you would bother posting what the Europeans think of us. Guess what. I don't give a flip what they think. They like Obama and he is killing us. What's that tell you. I prefer to see Americans do the right things and I don't care who doesn't like it.

On the other hand you American Hater are just like Obama and seem to be thrilled that someone dislikes us.

Once again, you are confusing opinions with facts.

The survey has nothing to do with who is the most accurate, just who they prefer watching.

A lot of people thing the moon is made of green cheese, but that doesn't make it so. People like having their biases confirmed. If your biases are right-wing, you've only got one place to go. Amongst those that prefer facts, their loyalities are split among many sources.

James, you are only kidding yourself. The question is not who you like to watch the most but who do you trust the most. This is what I hate about the current loony left's way of thinking. If they can find a way to sidestep the real issue with a bunch of double talk they think they've accomplished something. It's never about the realities of the subject but only winning the argument.

To be fair, PunditFact didn't fact-check EVERY statement made, just the ones that seemed unlikely enough that someone wrote in and asked them to check.

I looked at that poll and while I generally like Politifact and check with them pretty often regarding the legitimacy of some of the political nonsense I hear this piece looks very strange. The things that are fact checked look hand-picked and even their conclusions in a few cases seem skewed.

Besides, even if someone says something that is questionable FOX News they've got lots of liberal commentators sitting right there to challenge the comment. You can't get anymore Fair & Balanced than that. I don't know why anyone would object to that other than they just only want to hear one side of he issue which of course is THEIR SIDE.

The other thing I like is that FOX News isn't afraid of anything. They will report on issues that the left wants to see buried. Fox was years ahead of the other channels on the UN scandals and corruption during the Bush administration. The other were a year and a half late.

I will accept that as true, makes sense.

Nonetheless Fox is not honest and was created in the Nixon Administration and Roger Ailes was the planner and Nixon staffer. To trust Fox is fooling oneself.

I thought you guys liked immigrants. Roger Ailes came to this country and made a success of himself. His businesses outside of FOX News are also very successful. You guys just don't like him because he's not dependent on you for handouts.

Wonder why in their investigation of truth in news, PunditFact, a division of Pulitzer Prize winning Politifact found that FOX earned 60% "Mostly False" ratings. To be fair, MSNBC did not fair so well either with 46% "Mostly False" but earned less than 1/2 as many "Pants on Fire" as FOX did. But, MSNBC makes no claim of being a news channel. FOX has "NEWS" emblazoned on every broadcast

CNN earned 18% "Mostly False" ratings.

Again, I ask- If a disgraced Democratic Administration planned a news channel to spread one side of every story when all stories have 2 sides and then the chief planner of that channel was part of the administration and became the founding president of that channel, could it be called "Fair and Balanced?"

Try this. It's partially sponsored by the Brookings Institution who Politifact (the same outfit you are praising so highly in your response here) describes as a "center-left" organization so there is no reason why they would favor FOX News I don't think. From their results you can see that FOX News is the runaway winner in the trusted department. In fact, if you look at it closely it is very detailed and clearly a very thorough survey.

How many channels were designed by a Democratic Administration to bring you one side of the news? And a Democratic staffer in charge of it's design becoming the founding president. Would you call that fair and balanced? What if that so called "fair and balanced" channel had as its poster boy a self admitted schizophrenic? Not so balanced at all!

It's clear that you don't watch Fox News and don't rally know anything about it. It's not the most trusted and most popular news channel on television for no reason.
