Hi, Babogart...

My wife and I both enjoy photography as a part-time hobby. We are rank amateurs and have lots to learn. Personally, I tend to photograph landscapes, wildlife, interesting architecture, etc... People-shots are not my strong suit.

Just last night, I got my first good picture of the moon! I finally figured out how to do it... Yippee!!

Use Kaizen foam... http://www.fastcap.com/estore/pc/Kaizen-Foam-p13435.htm

You can get it through many sources.

It comes in a couple of thicknesses and is layered so that you can cut the shape you need and get the depth from removing enough layers. Its used widely for packing expensive gear for shipment or travel. Works really good for drawer storage of pricy stuff.

I am presently using it for a drawer set that I am making for my son. He will use it for storage of tooling for a small metalworking lathe.

Does your CD reader also read DVDs? Is the PSE 11 disc a CD or a DVD? If the software is a DVD and the machine can only read CDs, then that is the problem.

"I am considering becoming Buddist. They have better doughnuts and I get to come back as an ant."

Good one! Didn't know about the doughnuts... maybe I should join you... I'd like to be a sloth, though... Oh, wait, my wife says I'm that already!

Seems to me that we often over-look the fact that this is a democracy, not a dictatorship. In order to authorize, or put into law, any action the president may want, congress must approve it. Checks & Balances, as it was originally designed by the framers of the constitution.

So, the President, while in a very powerful position, can not make or change law directly. He can promote his vision, but he can not just issue a decree to make it law of the land. That is where congress steps in.

The election is over... Obama was re-elected. If you voted for him, great... If not, get over it. He is president and we should allow him to lead the country.

Its congress that could be the primary obstacle in all this. Let's hope and pray that they can actually WORK TOGETHER to help our society move forward. Four more years of obstructionism and the blame-game will not be productive and, ultimately, harmful to the U.S. of A..

Waterback... Adobe has a complete set of online video training sessions for Lightroom. Here is a link to the list of training topics for Lightroom 4:

http://tv.adobe.com/show/learn-lightroom-4/

Each training video covers a specific topic. Time for each varies, but most are in the 5 to 7 minute range.

And, Scott Kelby of kelbytraining.com has even more... his series takes about 3 hrs total:

Good luck! You will really enjoy Lightroom... I've had it since v.2 and can't see how I could do without it now.
