I too use I Photo and find memory is slowing down. I tend to crop raw photos a bit to minimize the file size. Also send files to i cloud then delete the file in I Photo-but really should back up with auxiliary hard drives before deleting them. Don't forget anywhere you exported a picture -it's there too-like in images or wherever.Lately I am only keeping 1 copy of a shot not 2 or 3. Then I go back and delete shots if they are not really important. Because it's cheap to take pictures we tend to sometimes over shoot and record' I'm getting better though. When you shoot 24mgpxl files it eats up lots of memory. My d200 with 10 megapixels uses far less space and still gives a fine product. Unless you are printing large or doing lots of cropping we really don't need to shoot at top settings=I feel

I shoot because I see beauty and wish to capture that moment visually. As my brother used to say-I can remember exactly where I was at the time and what I tried to capture. For me it is a way of remembering. I love all aspects of the natural world and did watercolor painting then turned to photos to paint them-then just stayed with photography. I find each camera has it's own look as far as color and other factors and enjoy comparing them.

What lens what camera-great shots!

D3200 is quite a camera-24 mpxl and good kit lens -easy to crop and print with this high a megapixel count without loosing sharpness. 14 45 basic lens-is real sharp-all you need -good shooting manual with digital nr on and medium high iso-1200 or so and also still sharp.Tune the color a bit and you have really nice stuff-just like the 5200-for less moola.

Try the lx7 Panasonic-only 4x but very sharp -good color and does good video. I have owned the g10-s100-and several others, and have settled on the lx 7- it's picture is in the Leica league-because they make the lens it uses-also it goes down to 1.4 aper. which give great low light use.Also on sale in Amazon for under 300.00 I believe.
