You have some beautiful country around there. Next year, catch the Renaissance Faire in Annapolis, lots of good pic ops.

Anyone have personal experience with the Nikon D7000 and the Canon 60D
What do you find in comparison picture quality??

Any better camera out there 16+megapixels that any one knows of??

So far I'm planning on the nikon

I've had a D7000 for almost a year. I love it!

If you have favorite settings, you can save them.

Battery life is fantastic! A thousand shots (JPG) on one charge.

Great video.
Great pictures. I've used it for just about everything.

I don't think you'll go wrong choosing the Nikon D7000.

Research all the reviews. D7000 will come out on top!

What's the best way to store photos? So far I have been storing some on my computer, also I've been using CD's and Flash Drives. Pictures use up a lot of memory on my computer. Also is it wise to put the original photos say on a CD or Flash Drive, and then if you want to edit any of the photos, make a copy of it, that way you still have the original photo? I do upload a lot of photos on Facebook, but that's about the only place I would upload photos online.

There are may sites you can upload pictures to. Webshots is one. They store the pictures in a smaller size and others can't get them unless you provide it to them. They also have many contests, which will give you a chance to see the work of others, including professionals.

Thank you!

That wasn't much of a review.

Thank you. I've already done that.
I'm looking for user experience, which many times are better then the reviews.

I recommend that you search Google for reviews on this lens. There are many excellent websites that provide owner reviews like Amazon.com, B&H photo, Adorama, etc plus professional organizations like dpreview. When I'm making a decision about buying new camera equipment that how get my info. I hope this helps, Arnold

I have been using a D7000 for about a year. I sold my D90 after I seen how great the pictures were from the 7000. I have taken close to 5,000 pics with the 7000. Battery life is good for almost a thousand pics. Video, is excellent. Dual SD card slots that you can configure for your needs. The choices for configuration of the camera are great AND you can save your two favorite settings so the are readily available. Won't put down any other Nikon product and will keep my 7000 until Nikon comes out with a full frame, affordable, camera that is as good or better the the D7000.
