Agreed that the 18-200 lens is a go-to lens for a broad range of applications but it is an entry-level lens and the higher priced FX lenses will give you better results. Digital photos tend to be a bit soft inherently, and applying a judicious amount of sharpening might give some surprising results. Nothing beats being on a tripod in the first place, too!

Sometimes I watermark photos so that they become a bit less usable, but otherwise I dont particularly care if someone wants to download a 200 kb file that is online. How far can they go with a file that size? Those who are interested in owning a photography worth displaying on the wall will make the purchase through me.
