It's okay. I was a model builder in my youth and also have a collection of 1/18 scale models. Did you build the model from a kit? do you remember the scale? Was just hoping I could get my hands on one of these. Think I'll run a web search and see what I can find.

Since no-one else asked, I fell I must. Who manufactured the model kit or model? What scale is it, Where can I get one? Which program did you use to create the painterly effects. Beautiful car and beautiful treatment of your subject.

I have been interested in this program as I also own Topaz Studio, so first, thanks for sharing your experience. I looked at both photos and I can see the noise in the fuselage in the original. In the after version I don't see much reduction in that noise but I do see evidence of sharpening which emphasizes the flaws in the model's silver surface. Personally, I prefer the original. May I ask why you shot this image at such a high ISO?

Best,
Bob

Topaz has just come out with a new adjustment to clean up noise. I have several programs now that do
a reasonable job but this new one by Topaz has really impressed me - I already owned Topas Studio
(I believe you must own Topaz Studio but it would be worth checking this) so I bought it. My very first
photo is posted ... Before & After
There is a Detail Boost option which I set to low (there is a high). There are sliders for adjusting the
percentage of adjustment of both the noise reduction and the Detail Boost. I have no financial or any
connection what so ever with the company; I am just letting Hogs know about what I consider
to be a good product. Hey, I loved their Remask too.

Here are a couple of shots taken this morning of the Blood Moon over the Ocean Beach Pier in San Diego. I am only posting small jpgs, as the photos are not as sharp as I would have liked. They were shot with my Canon 5DSr with 2X extender and 70-200 f4l lens. with the extender in place it was difficult to achieve sharp focus. The auto focus doesn't function in this configuration and for some reason, my tele will focus beyond infinity (is that even possible)?

A properly, well stretched canvas will not look like that. The corners will be square, with a 45ยบ underfold at each corner as in your fourth image. The front should be tight with no wrinkles or distortion. Great photo, by the way!
