I think of you all often, but have been so preoccupied with my house problems that I never get to think "photographs". My restoration is still not half done. The contractor lets it sit for months without darkening the door.

I do peak at your photos from time to time and you still exceed my expectations on a regular basis. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

Fantastic photos. No wonder you love it so.

Another year of harvesting is done, for us anyway. There are neighbors with lots left yet, but we are small scale farmers.
I love being in the field all day, out in the open, enjoying what the day brings, the beautiful sunsets, and the bounty God has blessed us with

I am okay. Just very worn with trying to get the contractor to do anything. Every day is a fight.

Your friends who are still in Irma's path will no doubt move somewhere else for a period of time. I think that the entire state will be without power for at least a month. I hope they will all be safe. This is the worst storm I have ever heard of. The entire southeast is crippled due to Harvey, our flood, L A's fires, earthquakes, and now Irma. Thousands of people here still do not have a contractor and once you get one they put you on hold for months. Now Texas is having the same problem.

I miss you all. Stay safe and keep the photos coming. I pray that the north will not freeze to death this winter. That is about all that is left to happen.

Thanks, Dane. Sorry I repeated so many times. It did not seem to send, but then it sent and sent. Our toys get complicated at times.

My house is not half done yet. I am at my daughter's house now. They say it will be Thanksgiving if everything comes in as planned. We get a lot of supplies from Houston. Now they need us to help them. Our police, sheriffs, and churches are over there now. It will probably slow us down, but I know they need it. Cleaning out all your wet belongs and removing walls is a terrible job. Then getting it dry is another long wait. After 3 weeks of blowers and dehydrators, I had mold growing up my walls because the company that charged my $1300 to dry it did not know what they were doing. So I really feel for Houston.
I hope all is good for all you UHH'ers.

Hello, Everyone,
I wonder if any of you are left in Florida. I hope not. I am praying for all of you threatened by this monster.
A couple of old paths.

Pat, sorry that I am late, but HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I was told that my house may be ready for Thanksgiving. Unbelievable! They haven't done anything for 3 weeks. I am chewing nails and learning bad language.

We have plenty of heat. It is mid 90's every day with showers or just plain heavy rain. Muggy, muggy, muggy!!! A box car load is on the way to your place.

Richard, it is so good to see that you are still perky and as wise as always. Thanks for those good wishes! I think of you so often.

Elizabeth! So good to see you back again! I've been so worried about your situation, and hope that your situation not only results in a speedy and successful return to your own home, but also a complete satisfactory resolution of your claims against the gangster who robbed you!
